We liked being on the end of the street, it wasn’t crowded around us. We also liked the layout of the place and in personally loved the paintings on the wall. I thought they were a great touch.
It’s clean but there are areas high up in the house, on the porch/decks, & decorations/curtains that need a good dusting & cobweb removal. Plus a lot of the windows had cobwebs/spiderwebs in them & we’d see it when looking outside. I’d say if a deep clean & wipe down was done from top to bottom, inside & out once or twice a year, the cabin would look even better. Also the games are GREAT but some are missing pieces (the troll memory gave is missing cards to match and we were flipping the same 12 cards over & over going crazy before realizing none of them had matches!). Replacing some of the ones with missing pieces would be something good to invest in. Some reviews said there was a hot tub? We saw there was a place for a hot tub on the screened in deck too because instructions on how to run it were still on the wall.. That would’ve been nice to have OR remove the instructions if the tub is gone. I also booked this place because reviews said there was a hot tub.

Felt like an authentic log cabin experience and had so much space. Pool table and dart board were a real treat. Beds very comfortable and whole experience very relaxing.
Outside space was dusty, especially chairs and table on front porch, they looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a long while. A few more kitchen basics would have been great such as cooking oil so when staying for only a few days you wouldn’t need to buy things like that.

Loved being able to sit on the balcony in the hot tub, loved the board games they had, the whole cabin was just so cozy.
Only thing was the bake feature on the oven didn’t work but we made due with the broil setting and wish the big tub upstairs would’ve been cleaned properly. When u filled it up and turned the jets on black stuff came out.

The views and amenities
little loud down the hill from traffic and tree carver across the road (chainsaws) but it was occasional and not the entire time.
