Situated in Ocean Isle Beach, this charming house for $600 per night is a great choice for your next break. Fantastic Home Steps from the Beach with two large ocean facing decks with amazing views. New Years Special: Stay the nights of 12/30 and 12/31 and the pool will be heated for free. You also get a late check-out on the 1st. Enjoy a fabulous vacation in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina in this gorgeous home with all the amenities, including a private swimming pool and elevator. The home has direct, exquisite ocean views due to the open space across the street. The dredging project of 2022 created approximately 70 yards of beach directly in front of house. In three bedrooms, two of which have king beds, you can hear and see the ocean. Enjoy the views on the wraparound first floor deck. The "5 O'clock" Adirondack table on the front deck will be your favorite gathering spot to relax and enjoy the ocean views. Beach access is flat and street level and just 20 steps away across a very quiet road. Kids can enjoy riding bikes with very little traffic in this part of the island. It's not uncommon to see dolphins from the front decks. The stunning home features six beautifully decorated bedrooms with 5 full baths. The bedding in all the bedrooms was recently upgraded with high end mattresses to provide a great night's sleep. The home sleeps 18 comfortably in its two master suites (king beds in each), five doubles, one queen and 2 twin beds (one bunk bed set). A modern, fully equipped kitchen has granite counter tops, over sized refrigerator/freezer, and all the tools and appliances you need when cooking for a crowd. In addition, a wet bar with sink, small drink refrigerator and a separate large ice maker to make the perfect cocktails. An over sized kitchen island easily accommodates 6 bar stools, the large dining table can seat 10 and the Adirondack table on the front porch has 6 chairs. The bright, spacious family room has a large HD Smart TV, games, books and puzzles for friends and family to enjoy. High speed internet with a 1GB download speed is included. In the backyard, a backyard oasis awaits your arrival. The pool measures 12 x 24 with a depth of 5 feet and is surrounded by lounge chairs, stamped concrete and a new Weber grill. For your convenience, a second refrigerator located near the pool area keeps your beverages cold as well as a great place to store extra groceries. There is also a food freezer which allows you to store groceries or multiple bags of ice. Beach chairs and boogie boards are provided during your stay. Ocean Isle Beach is a family oriented island which allows you to escape the crowds and traffic of the Outer Banks and Myrtle Beach and just relax. There are no traffic lights on the island. For the golf enthusiasts, there are 6 courses in Ocean Isle and another 40 golf courses within a 15 mile drive. A few nearby golf features courses such as Tigers Eye Golf Links, Sea Trail has 4 courses, Panther's Run, The Links at Brinks Landing, The Pearl Golf Courses, Thistle Golf Club, Heather Glenn, and Sandpiper. Ocean Isle also features a miniature golf course, beach shops, restaurants and a brand new park two miles away for the kids to enjoy. For the fishing enthusiasts, there are a few fishing spots on the island and the Ocean Isle Fish Company offers fishing excursions as well as boat, jet ski and kayak rentals. *Pool can be heated upon request for an extra daily fee. Rate varies based on time of year but ranges between $75 to $85 per day.* Linens and towels are not provided but can be delivered by a local company for approximately $12 per person for the duration of your stay or you can bring your own.

The house location is fantastic, with just a few steps to the beach.
The front porches give you an amazing view of the ocean, where we spent mornings and evenings relaxing and enjoying the view.
The amenities offered were fantastic.... fully stocked kitchen, a wet bar with an icemaker ( we never had to go out to buy ice), an extra fridge and freezer in the storage room, plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards and beach umbrellas!
The pool was a nice reprieve in the afternoon, with plenty of lounge chairs for relaxing while the kids played in the pool.
The main level was a perfect size to accommodate the 15 of us, and very comfortable. There were plenty of games for us to play, while others relaxed in the living room and watched TV.
The house overall was very clean and this was one of the BEST stays we have had in OIB!!!!

This property is excellent in every respect. It easily accommodated 11 guests, was clean, had everything we needed, and everything worked. The location is ideal, right across the street from a lightly used beach. Excellent views of the beach and ocean. The property owner, Tom, is an excellent communicator. He kept in touch regularly but did not overdo it. We asked for the pool to be heated due to unexpectedly cool weather, and it was done almost immediately. Highly recommended.

We planned this family reunion in June 2022. We added a special little one in January. Four generations ranging in age from 3 months to 83 years young. Absolutely stunning cottage, beautiful views, and impeccable host! Went above and beyond to meet our needs. Won’t need to bring much from home. Fully equipped. Would not hesitate to return year after year. Many thanks to our host Tom for making our family reunion one full of laughter, fun and especially wonderful memories that we will cherish for a lifetime!!

My mother’s 90th birthday was her “Best Birthday Ever” - a family reunion at Blue Crab. We were 13 in number, 2 mos. – 90 yrs. The house was gorgeous, well appointed and equipped, clean and welcoming. Some of us had done numerous beach rentals at OBX and had brought a variety of household supplies and beach gear but were nicely surprised that the house already had those. We loved having an elevator to move luggage, lots of groceries and at least a couple aging family members. Bedrooms on the main floor were perfect for the newborn’s parents and the great grandmother who has very low vision. We enjoyed the perfect location, immediate beach access and panoramic ocean views. The great grandmother appreciated that southern beach exposure for more sun exposure but less morning glare. Our group had a gourmet chef who spoiled us at every meal. He was able to do so because the kitchen was so well equipped. He and his helpers were in the conversation because of the open floor plan. The location is easily served by Myrtle Beach and Wilmington airports. Our host, Tom, was exceptional before, during and after our adventure. He was humorous, flexible, kind, responsive, and attentive to every detail to ensure we had an awesome trip. There was a whale sighting during our stay and he texted us to inform us. During our stay, we opted to heat the pool for 2 days. Tom took care of this last-minute request to the delight of the toddler who discovered underwater swimming “again…again…again….again!” We enjoyed the well-equipped, comfortable, private and safe pool area, heated outdoor shower and that huge Weber Grill used during our final feast preparation. We could not have asked for a better host or property. The pics online give a hint of how wonderful it is. We are talking about how to make it an annual event. We would choose this house and owner again.

The location and is perfect with ocean views and direct beach access without feeling crowded by other properties. The owner was available for any questions and concerns; great communication! We had a beach retreat for our college and career group at church and this weekend was so wonderful! The house was incredible, had amazing views, great location, and had everything needed. This house could not be in a better location. The beach access is right across the street, with easy access for fishing and beach fun! Tom was very responsive and easy to work with. Everything about this house was great. The kids especially enjoyed the heated pool, and the elevator allowed my elderly grandparents to move from one level to the next with ease and safety. I highly recommend this spot! It’s a great find!

This house is beautiful with all the amenities! I can’t recommend this house enough. Our family loved being there with the ocean out the front door and the pool out the back door. The kitchen was well stocked and the elevator made loading and unloading the car so much easier. The host was very responsive and gracious to any questions.

Our family and friends group of 17 stayed at the Blue Crab for a wonderful week of memories. The first time we’ve done this ever, and the first time together in a long time due to COVID. The house is beautiful and in the perfect location for beach accessibility and views of the ocean. We saw a huge school of dolphins swim by the first morning! The kids enjoyed the option of beach or pool, and there was everything available to accommodate that. Our dryer was suboptimal at first, but the landlord had it serviced immediately. Thank you to Tom Alas and crew for a wonderful venue to host our reunion!

Great vacation, Great House
We had the best time in Ocean Isle at The Blue Crab! We had never heard of Ocean Isle and randomly stumbled upon it and this listing and we are so glad we did. This was our first “real” vacation with the entire family and it was more than we had hoped. Tom was the perfect host, by far the best host of any VRBO we’ve ever stayed in. He was attentive, responsive, and made sure we had everything we needed. He sent out emails and texts in the days/weeks leading up to our trip with things for us to do and recommendations for our family. The few very minor issues we had at the house (I’m not sure I would even call issues) were fixed immediately! His team was also excellent and very helpful.
The house was perfect for our large family. The location could not have been better. At a quiet end of the beach, perfect views, and amazing new backyard and pool. We were all sad to leave! It was an all around great experience - we already booked for 2024 and look forward to this being a family trip for years to come!

Renting the Blue Crab Property was an absolute pleasure from the moment we made our reservation we were immediately contacted by Thomas who was accessible and proactive in responding to all of our questions to be better prepared for our stay. When we arrived to the property we realized we wanted to extend our stay. The property was immaculately cleaned, well equipped with all essentials in the kitchen, You will find great selection of beach essentials and extra storage. The property is perfectly located steps away from the beach with ocean views and with an amazing sunrise. The Blue Crab will be our new family’s vacation home and we can’t wait to visit again soon!

Excellent place for a getaway!
We had a reunion with multiple families and friends including 5 children under 4 years old. The house was great for us!! Plenty of room to spread out. The deck spaces are huge with wonderful views. Plenty of outdoor/patio furniture to enjoy the outdoor spaces.
We had a wonderful time enjoying the heated pool, the fence blocked the cold March wind so we could even enjoy the pool in the mornings and evenings. There were a few minor appliance issues, but Tom quickly responded to every need. He was a great host, and we would highly recommend this property! Hope to return in the future.
