Totally acceptable, but not great

The lake was beautiful and easily accessible, and the porch was a great way to experience it. The house had sufficient sleeping for all of us, and the host was very responsive and nice. Functional canoe w/ paddles was a nice thing.

We were excited about the houses old lady quirky kinda vibe but it had kinda departed from that zone and started to feel just, broken and undersupplied. No soap/shampoo/whatever in the showers, garbage bags were in short supply, kitchen was poorly stocked. Second kitchen was mostly non functional, sofa bed was partially broken, horseshoe pegs, but no horseshoes. Mild cat/musty smell even with everything open.
