Situated in Corozal District, this attractive house for $375 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Welcome to La Isla Bonita! You will not find a more friendly and calming destination as San Pedro Belize and Villa La Jolla is the perfect hub for your island vacation! *Covid-19 Update: Belize is Open and has policies and practices in place to keep you safe! There are requirements to travel, so please visit the Belize Tourism Board (BTB) website to see prerequisite actions required. Accordingly, Villa La Jolla is a Gold Standard Accommodation, meeting the highest standards of health, safety and sanitization services and is on the approved list of hotels as "Los Encantos Villas" (the name of our private 4 villa compound). Villa La Jolla is two-level mahogany and sandstone villa is located directly on the Caribbean Sea. The custom home has two ground level master suites with private bathrooms, including hand painted double sinks and both bedrooms open out to a covered porch overlooking the beach, palm trees and the Caribbean Sea. There is a 3rd large bedroom upstairs with a full bath just steps away. The large living & dining areas make up most of the 2nd floor, along with a full kitchen. There is a large upper deck with a comfy hammock and seating that overlooks the front yard of your dreams with blue skies, emerald seas, warm winds and coconut trees! The four villas of Los Encantos spaciously encircle a lovely saltwater pool, with Villa La Jolla (unit #1) on the oceanfront. There are plenty of lounge chairs around the pool, on the beach and around to beautiful landscaped grounds. Choose either sun filled or shaded by a palm frond umbrella or coconut trees (or move to your own quiet corner of paradise). You are close enough to San Pedro town, but still feels very private. San Pedro can be accessed on the dock via regular water ferry, private water taxi, or by road via golf cart or bike. And, there are great restaurants and bars that are a short distance up or down the beach from Villa La Jolla. Ambergris Caye, Belize's largest island, is known for its water sports, scuba diving and Caribbean beaches. Within sight of your villa, the Belize Barrier Reef (the world’s 2nd largest) features famed snorkeling and dive sites such as the Hol Chan Marine Reserve, with an abundance of sea life, and the 124m-deep Great Blue Hole. While Villa La Jolla is on the Caribbean Sea side of the island, it's conveniently located adjacent to the island cross-road that goes to the infamous Secret Beach on the lagoon side of the island. Just a short drive across you'll find several establishments offering lounge chairs, shaded tables in the water, shaded docks, inner-tubes, over water massage, grilled food, cold beer, exotic concoctions & shallow turquoise waters! You can walk about 1/4 mile out from the beach in waist deep turquoise water! It’s a must see. Villa La Jolla is a very comfortable, welcoming private home, the perfect “home base” for your amazing Ambergris Caye and Belize adventures. It may not be your choice if you seek 'gourmet kitchens' or 1000 thread count bedsheets. However, if you want somewhere you'll feel very welcomed, comfortable and able to live, relax and enjoy everything the island has to offer, then we're your choice. If there is anything you need or would like, our onsite caretaker and our San Pedro management company, Reef Management, will assist immediately. Reef and their terrific staff are a phone call away to arrange tours, golf carts rentals, bike rentals, water taxis, restaurant bookings - anything you wish. **Exterior Security Camera In Use On Property: Exterior security cameras are in place to monitor ground level exterior door and windows. They are not located within or positioned to view any interior locations or those requiring reasonable expectation of privacy. The property was great. Loved the pool and the dock with palapa. The ocean views were amazing from the deck and we walked the beach every morning.
The management company was great to work with and arranged flights and golf carts for us. Neveya and Harley were very helpful during our stay. We had a fabulous time.

We stayed for a week with two other couples. All arrived and departed at different times. Janice was very helpful and full of information. Nevia and Harley took care of all on-site needs, including two amazing home cooked meals. Excursions with Ali Mermaid were excellent! Clinton customized private tours that will be lifetime memories.

From check-in to check-out, everything was absolutely lovely! What a beautiful home! Nevia and Harley were great help for the property! She made us a great meal of stewed chicken and coconut rice with some amazing banana/caramel pies. and a beautiful flan cake for my daughter's birthday! Cleaning the place was a welcome help midway through our stay as sand does tend to get everywhere. But we had so much room for our stay and everyone slept well. My favorite place to chill was on the balcony though for morning coffee or evening drinks. The breeze kept the bugs away. :) The hammock was also like my sanctuary. We loved chilling in the pool in the evening or night with the kiddos (our are older - 13 and 15). Walking out to the pier was also a treat - what a peaceful place. If you can, book with Clinton too for trips! We will definitely be back!!!

The house is great. It’s off the beaten path, but that is a great thing. A golf cart is necessary no matter where you stay, so being north is nice, quiet and beautiful. Communication with management beforehand made it where we just showed up everywhere with everything already arranged. It was so nice. The very best thing about this place is the on-site family who manage the grounds. Harly, the grounds keeper is fabulous. He went out of his way to make sure we stayed comfortable. He opened fresh coconuts for us, kept us stocked with everything we needed and was a great advisor for the area. Nevia, his wife…amazing cook and amazing person. Do yourself a favor and arrange for her to cook for you one night. Homemade fresh tortillas still frequent my dreams. By the end of our week there, I felt like I was leaving new friends!

We spent spring break at this wonderful property! It was great to have a beautiful pool and the oceanfront and only 2 other properties to share with. Nevia and Harly do a wonderful job taking care of guests, and the property manager is super easy to work with. The house was clean and comfortable. Outside of the hustle and bustle of San Pedro, but close enough for a gold cart ride in. We will be back!

My group of high school friends and I had a wonderful time. We were met on the island by Renaldo, who stopped at grocery stores for us, to get some basics. We were welcomed in the condo by Nevia, who I had arranged a meal with, she made us chicken fajitas, beans, rice and banana bread, all wonderful. Harley keeps the grounds in such wonderful shape. The pool was spectacular, we sure wish the seagrassum hadn't been in the water and on the beach, but mother nature had other ideas. The condo was perfect and Nevia kept it clean, and she and Harley had suggestions of where to go and how to get there. Great snorkel trip with Ali Mermaid Adventures. Thank you so much for a GREAT week in paradise.

Everything was arranged for us and made traveling with children a breeze. Nevia is an amazing cook and Harly does a fantastic job keeping everything pristine. We loved the property and location. The house, grounds and pool were spotless. The property was quiet and peaceful.
We spent a fair amount of time on the lounge chairs at the end of the dock; the views were gorgeous. We did not spend time on the beach in front of the property, though. There are prettier beaches and better swimming areas on other parts of the island.
The property manager was very communicative. She arranged for our internal flight and transportation to and from the airport, which made traveling easy. She also arranged to have a golf cart waiting at the property when we arrived; you will absolutely need a golf cart to get arond the island. All of her suggestions were fantastic.

We came to San Pedro with our kids 17 & 23. We planned to stay at Los Encantos for 4 days then head to another resort on the mainland for the rest of the week. Long story short…we cancelled the the second resort and stayed at Los Encantos. My kids couldn’t get enough fishing, spear fishing and snorkeling. Janice (the manager) was amazing and quickly rebooked our flights and took care of all the changes that were needed. It’s like staying in a 5 star resort with superb concierge service! The grounds are beautiful, Harley and Nevia are so friendly and helpful with anything you may need. We plan to return next year!!

We had a wonderful time staying at Los Encantos. Janice and Kristie was extremely helpful on the preparation of traveling to San Pedro and as well as planning/providing information on excursions. The house/pool/property were very well maintained which made for a relaxing vacation. The caretakers were so kind and always available to answer questions. Nevia cooked a delicious Belizean dinner for us which I would highly recommend. We have already recommended Los Encantos to our friends and hope to come back sooner than later.

We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property. The pool was refreshing and the view from our balcony was relaxing. Nevia and Harley made our experience enjoyable. We had Nevia cook for us (chicken fajitas and garlic shrimp), she also made a key lime pie and shrimp ceviche (twice) for our stay. The only suggestion I would make is for management to give the renters an invoice with instructions of who to pay and when if they do order any extras. We had a small miscommunication regarding the payment but it was quickly remedied and not a big deal. If you are looking for a beautiful, clean, and safe property outside of town, I would highly recommend.

From start to finish, we had an amazing experience with Janice and Reef Management. She helped coordinate just about everything......golf cart rentals, recommended Clinton at Ali Mermaid Adventures, booked our Tropic Air flights and arranged for Nevia to have an amazing meal ready for us upon arrival after a long days journey. The villa at Los Encantos exceeded our expectations! Nevia and Harly do an amazing job taking care of the property as well as the guests. They are so wonderful! Everyone is so welcoming you feel as though you are home. We really enjoyed the location because it was far enough away from town but close enough to everything you need. Also, it's proximity to Secret Beach is great. You won't regret relaxing on the veranda and it's breathtaking ocean view!

Los Encantos is a Great place! We had our four kids with us and they all had a wonderful time. Nevia and Harley are very helpful. We had everything we needed. If you’re looking for a quiet place away from town and you want to watch the sun rise over the ocean every morning, this is your place.

The five of us had a wonderful time at Villa La Jolla! It was restful, relaxing, and beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed the two meals by Nevia (especially the stewed chicken and coconut rice) and the leftovers kept us full the next day. Harly does a fantastic job of keeping the grounds and pool in pristine condition. We loved just sitting outside in the yard on the lounge chairs, under the palapa, or on the deck in between dips in the pool.
Our excursions with Clinton were both wonderful although we especially enjoyed the fishing trip with the lobsters Phil and Clinton caught for our meal. Everything was so convenient and easy both days.
We truly appreciated the ease of travel to San Pedro and around the island with the help of Reef Management taking care of us so well.
We loved the house and location and would love to return some day in the near future. It truly was a wonderful family time we will remember for years to come!

We had a fabulous time renting this beachfront house. It was very clean and comfortable. Our first night we had a home cooked meal from nevia that was delicious. Janice provided excursion info which led us to all day snorkeling and sunset cruise adventures.

Amazing property
This property really is as wonderful as it seems. The on-site caretakers are incredibly kind, and more than willing to help, and offer suggestions. They hand picked coconuts for our children from the trees around the house. The house is perfect for a family looking for beach time. Easy access to restaurants, a store and Secret Beach. I would return in a heartbeat.

Our stay at Los Encantos was wonderful. The house looks exactly like the pictures, no surprises. The Reef Management Team (Janice and Kristie) were such a big help to set up our airport transfers and Covid tests.
I highly recommend having Nevia cook dinner for you, the food on the island is great but her homecooked meal really took our vacation to the next level. She made us BBQ chicken, with beans, coleslaw, and homemade tortillas! Her ceviche and key lime pie were heavenly.
Location is 4.5 miles north of town so you will need a golf cart, Janice can set it up for you or you can rent one in town. It takes approximately 20 minutes to get to town so plan accordingly. There are some very close restaurants like John’s Escape, Enell’s Burgers, The Tipsy Lobster, and Sol Cafe. There is a convenience store right around the corner but you’ll have to go about 15 minutes south for groceries.
The villa exceeded expectations. 3 perfect bedrooms and bathrooms, and everything you could need in the kitchen. The upstairs deck has a nice hammock and chairs. And the downstairs has some more chairs. The beach was small but pleasant and the pool was quite refreshing.
We had a lovely time at Los Encantos and highly recommend vacationing there
