The staff was really nice and helpful. The guy in the pool bar was always positive, smiling, making jokes etc.
There were three major issues that negatively impacted our experience:
Food Poisoning: Unfortunately, we both suffered food poisoning from the hotel restaurant. My partner was vomiting the entire night, and I had stomach problems that lasted for two days.
Air Conditioner Placement: The air conditioning unit is positioned in such a way that, even when set to blow parallel to the floor, it creates an uncomfortable draft over the person sleeping on the far side of the bed. If you leave it off, the room becomes too hot, but if you turn it on, one person ends up getting chilled (which happened to me). As a result, we had to turn it on for about 10 minutes three times during the night, which was very disruptive and not ideal.
Limited and Repetitive Menu: While the food was acceptable for the first week, the selection was very basic and repetitive. By the second week, we found ourselves avoiding the main courses altogether and only eating soup, bread, watermelon, and bananas.
