About this house rental
Located in Gold Beach, this lovely house for $178 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Ocean-Riverview Bungalow Our calendar is updated in real-time & our nightly rates are accurately displayed. Simply enter your desired dates and click 'Book Now!' Located just up the hill from the Rogue River and the Pacific Ocean, this home is the perfect place for anyone who wants peace, privacy, and great views of the water. The home features a private bedroom separate from the main living area that offers its own access to the deck. Guests can enjoy the use of a full kitchen, a gas grill perfect for cooking up fish, and a comfortable living area that also provides access to the deck. In addition to the beach itself, Gold Beach is a fun town with lots of great things to see and do. Guests can enjoying fresh seafood at local restaurants and a pint at Gold Beach Brewing Company (less than a half mile from the home). There are several interesting shops and boutiques, as well as museums to help you learn about some of the area's local history. Otter Point State Recreation Center (with its spectacular sandstone formations) is just three-and-a-half miles away. THINGS TO KNOW This home is not suitable for children due to deep ravine in front of home. This particular homeowner strongly prefers to keep an anti-allergen home for those who are allergic to animals, as the owners are allergic. Bringing any type of animal into this home should be avoided if at all possible. We kindly request that you please consider choosing one of our other homes that already allow pets. We really appreciate your consideration in this matter. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 21 years of age to book. Guests under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation. From the moment we walked in we felt at home. It was so clean, cozy and welcoming and that view! The deck space was a weekend favorite with wood rocking chairs, a picnic table and bbq. Waking up to the river/oceans view was such a
treat. We throughly enjoyed the well stocked kitchen as we cooked most of the weekend. We loved everything about the cozy seaside bungalow and will definitely be back.

The view was fantastic off the back deck. We had a relaxing time watching the boats go up and down the river and the sunset over the Pacific. The locals were all friendly and welcoming, and the neighbors were so friendly too. We're already talking about our next trip back to Gold Beach.

Beautiful view, deck, and a nicely furnished nicely appointed little vacation home. Vacasa customer service was outstanding. Local phone number was provided, and local management staff close by to take care of any needs or problems, including help with the TV remote. Absolutely LOVED having Netflix available!

The view is absolutely fantastic and hasn't been matched in my lifetime of vacationing on the Oregon Coast. As someone else posted in a review -- the bedroom being outside the house was awkward. After the first night we moved into the queen bed that is inside the main living space. I had no complaints after and it was just us, so it worked.
The layout of the furniture was off for TV watching, but it was not overly hard to switch the couch around.
The house was clean and very private.
The only thing keeping it from a five is the parking. I was so scared the truck brakes were going to give out and it'd roll into the house. Again, not a deal changer. I do plan to return for sure.

My husband and son and I spent the weekend here and loved every minute. One reviewer said the house was “well appointed” and I agree with that description. Clean, yet comfy, we relaxed on the deck and enjoyed the sea breeze, slept deeply in the fluffy bedding, and curled up on the soft green couches to read. The house is well appointed and very clean. Check-in was a breeze. The only downside is the unattached bedroom - as far away from the bathroom as possible. We didn’t feel comfortable leaving the house unlocked while we slept at night, which meant we had to walk outdoors in the middle of the night to get to the bathroom. Not the best setup. However, the views, cleanliness and location couldn’t have been better and we had a wonderful time. The deck is stunning.

It was a very comfortable and quiet stay. Easy access. Great location. Comfy beds, fluffy towels, and a dreamy view.

We loved the view and the house was clean and pretty well laid out. However two things kept me from giving this a 5 star rating. One was the Master Bedroom which has a king sized bed that is not connected to house and has no bathroom. So that means you would have to unlock main house at night to go in to use the restroom. And that would be a hassle in the mornings for getting ready. So we slept on the queen bed inside which was in a tight area but ok. Secondly trying to cook on the stove was a challenge as all the burners must be mismatched they do not fit the stove and was very hard to keep a pan on to cook. But other than those two things it was a nice home.

Great location family-friendly!
I have never reserved a house for a trip before so i didn't know what to expect. This little house is beautiful and the view is amazing the pictures don't do it justice! It had everything you needed from kitchen utensils to towels and shampoo! It was also very clean and the beds were soooo comfortable!!!
