We loved the location right on the beach (although surprisingly the beach seems to be the one thing that Japanese don't keep clean and it was almost 100% being used by tourists and kind of trashy). We also loved how sweet the staff were.
We didn't love that our room wasn't ready at check in time and we had to kill 3 hours during the heat wave. Also the room was so tiny that two beds and a tiny table took up all the available space so we had to keep stepping over each other to get around. I know Japan is known for this but this was the worst we encountered.

The location was exactly what we wanted. It was newly renovated so that was nice. Beach front property with a nice and friendly staff. Super helpful owners and staff. Very cool vibe!
The room itself was located below ground in a converted store and we thought we had a view of the ocean like the pictures on booking.com. We aren’t sure if we missed something in the way it was advertised but the big grand room for families is totally wondeful to stretch out in. We loved this part, but it has a weird view of stairs and a cement wall which was strange at first and took some getting used to. Also be careful with booking , I missed the age of my child and they charged me $132 more dollars when we asked about the bed not being made. So something to be aware of if you make the same mistake I made.

It is really right on the beach, which is perfect, but sand gets straight into the room, and all the surfaces are a little salty and sticky.
There is no reception, just a surfer cafe, and no street turnoff from the main highway. Tough to get cabs.
