Located in Traverse City, this charming condo for $312 per night is a great choice for your next break. Welcome to the Blue Water Front Street Retreat. This lovely third-floor 2-bedroom condo is located on Downtown Traverse City's main drag and is just minutes from the epicenter of all things fun in TC! From its lively nightlife and nationally renowned food scene to its stunning family-friendly beaches, park, and hiking and biking trails; the Blue Water Retreat offers guests a prime location with lots of walkability and all the "at home" comfort they could want. Located on the third floor, our guests enjoy limited noise interruptions as there are no floors above our unit. We also do not have an elevator, so this unit is more situated for active families and couples who don't mind taking the stairs. Inside our unit, we boast lots of eastern-facing windows and plenty of natural light throughout the open floorplan. Guests will find the large centrally located living room to be a great space for entertaining or for kicking back and watching a movie on our smart TV. The kitchen is also fully stocked and has everything you need to prepare a gourmet dinner or to cook a simple breakfast. The large primary bedroom features a king-size bed with a full-size ensuite bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet. The second bedroom is off the kitchen and features a queen-size bed with a closet and a laundry room. There is a parking lot at the rear of the building with one parking space designated for this unit. If you park in any other unit's parking space your vehicle can be towed without your notice. There is additional parking available at Hardy Parking Garage at 303 E State Street. Parking in the alley behind the condo is not allowed. Rental Policy: - No smoking or fireworks are permitted - No Pets Allowed. - No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted. - Minimum booking age is 25 To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide all reservations with damage protection. This protection plan costs $49.00 for 1-29 nights, $249.00 for 30-59 nights, then $70.00 for each additional 30-night block. Also, by booking, you are giving this third-party permission to screen your identity and check it against their guest register and criminal databases. The property was exactly as described. Very clean and nice. Great location and walking distance to several restaurants and coffee shops. The host was extremely accommodating, we had a death in the family and they allowed me to shift my dates even though the cancellation policy stated otherwise. We were very happy with how everything worked out nicely.

The condos on Fourth Street were a great central location, close to all we wanted to do in the Traverse City area. We should have read the amenities a bit closer to remember to bring our own soaps and shampoos; but we were still thrilled to have all other items available. Pleasantly surprised by the quiet neighbors too, as I believe we were all tourists. Thank you for sharing this space with us. We would stay again.

We were in town for a sailing regatta at Grand Traverse Yacht Club and mainly needed a place to sleep and do laundry as we were gone all day. The place was clean and quiet and safe for our small family of 3 to rest our heads each night. It is about 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City, nothing very walkable from this location. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. A few negatives - The assigned parking spots are very tight for a vehicle larger than a standard SUV. Typical VRBO, they require guests to basically clean the entire place prior to checkout despite being charged a cleaning fee. The beds/pillows were horribly uncomfortable. All considered it was a successful stay.

We came in town for my husbands birthday. We always enjoy our trip to Traverse City. He wanted to go back for his birthday again this year so we made this spot home for our stay this time around. The owner was very responsive, property close to everything. Only reason I knocked a star off was due to not having the right access code to enter when we first arrived, however management got back to me right away with the access, and the parking lot was very small. My husband drives a big truck and we had to park in our assigned spot per unit. We were parked behind other vehicles and I was nervous other stayers may back into his truck. Other than that I would recommend the location :)

We had two couples and were able to truly enjoy our long weekend for the 4th of July. We could walk to breakfast and coffee and we walked to a beach as well! The assigned parking spot was a great use during the busy time of the 4th of July Weekend as well! Great property and we had a wonderful time!

Good location close to downtown. Can walk to some places from it. The property was clean and check in process was easy. Only inconvenience was that there is only one parking spot for the apartment. I don’t recall seeing that on the description. Overall great location and property.

The condo was an excellent base for our extended wine weekend with our friends. The location was in a perfect location for heading to wineries in either the Leelenau peninsula or the Old Mission peninsula. Also excellent location for our favorite restaurants in the downtown area. Super clean and had everything we needed. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to consider other properties with this group.

We were in Traverse City for a friend's wedding weekend. The wedding was on the Peninsula, but there were other events planned in Downtown TC, so we wanted a place that was in between the two and this fit the bill. The condo was very nice and worked well for our needs. I have to admit that until about a week before the wedding I had missed the parts of the listing that said it was a 3rd floor walk up with no elevator, or that there was only one on-site parking space you could use. It still worked out well and we had a nice time but you don't know how out of shape you really are until you have to climb two larger normal flights of stairs repeatedly, with luggage. It should probably be mentioned in the listing that the assigned parking space is a parallel parking space between two other cars. We were lucky that we drive a sedan and my husband can parallel park. My dad's truck could not fit in the space. My parents arrived first and the door code didn't work for them, but they were able to call the property owner and have it unlocked remotely, and eventually get the code working. We needed a measuring spoon and the ones in the drawer were dirty. The condo itself was very nice and clean. We didn't spend a lot of time in the condo because we had a lot going on, but we enjoyed the time we did spend there.

Check in was fast and easy, great location. Nice that there was a noise machine in the king bedroom as there was lots of street noise. Upon arrival when entering each day/night there was a distinct smell of cigarette smoke. Also upon cleaning up when we left I found mens dirty underwear under the bed. Overall it met our needs.

Great location and property management company
We went to Traverse city for the half marathon and cherry festival. The property was located about .5 miles from the edge of downtown and .5 miles from packet pickup and the bus transfer to the start of the race.
We flew into Traverse city early and called the management company to see if we can drop our luggage off somewhere. They stated the property had already been cleaned and they let us in early without any additional fees. We thought that was incredibly generous.
The property was only a few blocks from the grocery store.
Water pressure was great, the beds were comfortable. I hate it when you go to a VRBO and the beds are old and terrible.
The property housed two adult couples just fine. Highly recommend the property and the management company.
One thing to note. It is hard to get an uber driver, so if you go and you want to explore, you should rent a vehicle.

Graduation trip
Overall the property was clean and well-maintained with a few minor problems. The fan in the master bedroom did not work. The microwave repeatedly threw a breaker when nothing else was being used in the unit. Street noise is very noticeable. There is a sound machine in the master bedroom but it will not allow you to turn it on and leave it on. It times out so then of course you wake up hearing the noises.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, good location. Couldn’t park second car on side streets due to wintertime restrictions (no parking allowed). We ended up paying to park a second car at nearby motel for less than city garage fee.

Rental is not from an owner, it’s through a management company that doesn’t respond to email. The contact phone number is for emergency maintenance or access issues only. They are not available after 5pm on Friday through the weekend if you have any other questions/issues. They have a cumbersome checkout process including starting some, but not all laundry, starting the dishwasher and taking garbage out to a dumpster in the alley behind the property (which was being rooted through by someone on a bike as I was trying to throw stuff out). You would think for the cleaning charge, they could take care of this stuff.

We really liked this condo. It was really clean and had everything we needed. I wish there was a bit more parking in the parking lot, but it was manageable. It’s close to downtown and fit four adults comfortably. The pull out sofa was broken, but the guy who slept there said the couch was comfortable enough. We would definitely stay there again!
