About this house rental
A spacious 4 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom property provides enough room to stretch out, relax and enjoy the spacious grounds and views. This property allows 8 Total with 6 Adults plus 2 children due to town code. The main floor houses the open concept living quarters with two double sliding doors opening to a huge deck overlooking the mountains and spacious grounds. There is a very spacious and comfy living room area with two big couches with lounges to host your larger family or friends gathering. Off the dining room boasts a full bathroom with a shower and fully-equipped kitchen that includes anything your cooking needs should require. There is also a breakfast island that seats four and a formal area dining set that seats eight. The gathering spaces on the lower level houses a heat pump for your comfortable heating and cooling needs while the upper level bedrooms have window a/c units in two of the queen bedrooms, due to window configurations is the final two, as well as ceiling fans, as it tends to be cooler in the evenings on the coast.
The upper level is home to the four bedrooms.
Three have comfy queen sized beds, while the 4th larger bedroom is suitable for children with three twin beds.
The second bathroom with a shower is also on the second level.
Wake up to incredible mountain views from your bed and a peak at Somes Sound (Ocean). This lovely property sits on a small side residential road in tiny village of Hall Quarry.
The property will accommodate a total of 8 guests, maximum 6 Adults plus 2 children.
PLEASE NOTE: We are "dog friendly" but you must inquire about your pet/pets prior to booking~ no exceptions. We have a maximum of 2 dogs allowed and there is a non-refundable pet fee of $200 per stay. Please note that your fur babies are not allowed on any furniture or bedding or you will have to pay additional cleaning to get their fur out of the furniture.
We are located in the quaint village of Hall Quarry~We are approximately 2 miles away from Echo Lake Beach and many of our favorite hiking and biking trails that Acadia has to offer.
The down-town area of Bar Harbor is approximately 10 minutes away. The Quiet side as its known (SW Harbor) is located within a few minutes and includes a grocery store.

This was a great spot for our two families. Great location to see all the sights Acadia has to offer. Check in and check out was easy. All accommodations as listed. Perfect stay!

We loved staying at this property. There were 3 adults and 3 kids (10yrs-14yrs) and w head plenty of room. We planned to bring our dog but he ended up staying home. The house was very clean and you never would have known pets were allowed in the home. The main living space was perfect for all 6 of us. Great deck and outdoor space. Ninja blender, toaster, microwave, drip coffee maker and pod coffee maker. The host was quick to respond in any correspondence we had. Very close to all things in the area -5 minutes to Echo Lake, 15ish minutes to Bass Harbor Lighthouse, 25 min to Jordan Pond, less than 20 min to Bar Harbor. If I had to give any criticism it would only be I wish the oven had a range hood/ vent. We did cook inside and I was worried about the smoke/steam with no fan. We would 100% stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who asks about staying in the area.

The property was amazing. I only wish we had more time to spend enjoying each little oasis on the grounds. The kids loved the rooms. The interior is beautifully decorated bringing elements of the outdoors inside, and everything felt brand new. We were close to Acadia National Forest and great local restaurants and sites, so it was easy to experience everything we came for!

The house is clean and spacious and located in a quiet neighborhood. There is a well kept landscape; great for morning coffee, peaceful rest, yoga, chat with friends, etc. The house is about 15 minutes from Bar Harbor so access to food and attraction areas were easy.
Here are few things to note for others before booking. The check out is at 9:00 AM, which came as a surprise to us and our guest friends. All dishes and glasses are plastic. The 2nd full bath is on the first floor right in the living/ dinning area which makes it hard for two families to use and feel private.There are NO shampoo/ hair conditioning and bodywash/ soap in the showers so make sure you pack yours. There is no access to the lake across the street but there is another lake near by to swim and do other water activities.
