The actual house lived up to the pictures online and the views were out of this world!
Unfortunately when one of my travel partners arrived there was no key in the lockbox and despite many unsuccessful attempts to contact the owner spent over 3 hours outside in the rain. Luckily we found an insecure window and were able to gain access because we didn't hear back from the owner till 7am the following morning. Turns out they were holidaying in the US so didn't get our many messages till the following day. This is all well and good but they should have had an alternate contact who would actually answer the phone while they were away. If we weren't able to gain entry we would have been left with no accommodation overnight. They were very apologetic but I think the situation was not good enough and could have ended very badly. Turns out the key we found inside was the wrong key anyway.
Aside from that the property is amazing and I wished we could have experienced it without the rain and 70km/hr winds.
