The Hyatt Place is perfect for a visit to National Harbor!

Location is wonderful! Easy to walk to everywhere we wanted to go to. Hotel room on the corner facing the river was perfect. We were very happy with the room. It was very clean, as was the bathroom.

It was cool in the evenings and we tried to raise the temperature on the thermostat, but could not. I think the thermostat is not functioning well. The temperature read 78, but it was no where near that.

We would stay here again, ideal location for daily outings.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Super clean and comfortable throughout.

The buffet breakfast was wonderful. The one attendant worked hard but had so much to keep up with, replenishing the coffee and food. Perhaps have a second person to help clear and wipe down tables. Not everyone cleans up after themselves.

My stay was awesome. I definitely would stay at this hotel again.

There was a wide variety of breakfast choices to choose from. The hotel was nice and quiet.

There was no microwave in the room.

It was a good getaway that we needed.

The room was very good especially the addition of the seating area. The bathroom was nice and modern. The location on the edge of the area was outstanding. Access to the parking deck was good.

The closet was small for the three of us.

Convenient to my Daughters fencing competition, The overall hospitality given equally to all the guests staying there.

Don’t accept payments for your stay on smart devices, just small payments for incidentals.

Perfect!

Staff was excellent and did a great job of making us feel welcome for the Christmas holiday. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of food. The servers were professional and helpful. We ate at the restaurant and the shrimp appetizers were delicious!

Lovely stay in a wonderful hotel. Truly a gem

Breakfast far exceeded expectations as the variety and quality of food were above any other hotel breakfast I've had. Location was also exceptional, shopping, dining and activities just outside the door.

No incentive or validation for parking lot for hotel guests.

Served a one night need, but expensive for “value”.

Location is great. Room was clean but an average room.

Not pet friendly due to excessive fee which was not advertised at $75 night and lack of places to take dog for restroom. Also parking deck is across street plus a block and requires payment every in and out and closes nearest entry at night. No mini fridge for insulin. 3 blocks to get decent coffee.

The only feedback I have is it would be great if the hotel had a shuttle.

An account hold shouldn't take 7-10 business days.

It was perfect. We were in town for a wedding and our hotel room was right in front of the venue. Room was clean. View was beautiful.

Charges from the hotel and Monica ruined the experience. We paid $514.48 (2 night stay) through Booking.com. However, because we reserved the room instead of paying for the room in advance the property has an additional $614.48 (additional $100 for security deposit) hold on our account that won't come off for another 7-10 business days. In trying to understand this, I spoke with Kimberly who was great. I called back for clarification on how long the hold would take and spoke with Monica who was extremely rude. She was short, continuously over-talked me and hung up on me as I was asking for her name. I called back and spoke with Raul (manager on duty) who was kind and unfortunately got the back end of my frustration with Monica. Monica needs to retrain. Her customer service was atrocious. My next stay will be anywhere but Hyatt Place all because of the $614.48 hold and Monica's poor customer service. If you are holding someone's money for no other reason than time how then are you frustrated with them for trying to understand?!?!? Is there an issue between Booking.com and Hyatt Place that creates this extended account hold??? Staff at check-in and during our stay were GREAT! I didn't get his name but the tall young black male was extremely wonderful! A/C was a little tricky. Labor Day weekend was extremely hot. First night, it turned off around 2am and we couldn't get it right until 4am. Second night, was worse, the trick that worked on the first night didn't work. Couldn't get the room to cool until 20 minutes before check out.

Clean place with a very nice staff

It's a standard hotel. No fancy things, but everything works as it should in a standard hotel. Very nice and helpful staff. Clean room with all basic things (coffee maker, fridge, hairdryer, ironing board, etc.).

The only thing, and it's not the hotel's fault in some sense, is a very noisy location. Seems like National Harbor (and specifically this place) is loved by youngsters practicing night life. In addition to this street noise I saw a few police cars standing, or driving with signal. Not a problem in general, but perhaps worth considering when booking.

We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the stay was comfortable.

Room was comfortable after a rough start. The room we were initially in had a non-working air conditioner so the staff moved us to a different room.

Off site parking. If I had known that you had to walk a block away to park your car (and pay $24.00 a day) I would have selected a different hotel in the area.
