Just a few minutes away from major attractions
Matrasses are extremely hard. The spa is relatively small for the Number of guests. First day we had to Wait to go to the breakfastroom and had limited options in food items. (This was much better the 2nd day). The scrambled eggs are watery, and coffee and drink options are limited. On the day of check in , staff told that the national park and the bus services would close on November 1st, but this was fortunately the 15th. Prices are more than double compared to prices we paid elsewhere in Japan.

Amazing breakfast, nice spa
The room size was ok, but tight with three suitcases. However there is space under the bed

The location was convenient; close to the train and bus station.

Staff was very friendly. Close to the train station.
Price per night was insanely high and not worth the money. We stayed at a 5 star hotel in hakone for the same price (without breakfast though).
Then the onsen could use a deep clean and some minor fix ups. Only one washing Maschine and one dryer in each onsen (male and female) for the whole hotel.
Bathroom looks like enlarged camping bathroom
