This a beautifully styled and furnished apartment.
The location is excellent...a 10 minute walk from the station and close to all of the main Takayama sights.
We loved the soaker tub and having a kitchenette, table and sofa.
It was nice to have a washer also.
There were plenty of soft bath towels.
The apartment was very clean and had lots of window and lighting.
We only used the main bedroom with the two twin beds.
There is a security camera INSIDE the apartment that records the entry area where you place your shoes and coats. We have never stayed in a rental where the camera was in the house and did not like it.
Every other landlord has the camera on the EXTERIOR side of door facing outside of door to monitor entry into apartment
The bedroom faces a busy street and a parking lot and is over a restaurant.
Unfortunately, you can hear every word of everyone talking outside, and all of the cars, bus, motorcycles on this busy main street.
We could also hear noises from the restaurant some nights and could smell the smoke from the grill.
We slept poorly as a result of all of this noise.
If you are someone who can sleep through anything, we recommend this apartment.

En realidad el Hotel Montis es un departamento. Fue el mejor departamento que tuvimos en nuestro viaje a Japón. Es amplio, muy cómodo, perfectas instalaciones y muy bien decorado. Está muy bien ubicado. Lo recomiendo.

Very modern, spacious and comfortable.
Restaurant Butchers topped it of with real good food. Staff was friendly. And I think I had the best Hida steak fillet ever!
Nothing, it was perfect.

Big apartment with a lot of space. It’s in a very good condition and has all the amenities you need and even a washing machine. You can park the car just outside. It’s also very central.
The kitchen could be better equipped. There isn't much cutlery, and there are no knives. There are only two chairs at the table.
