After years of renting vacation homes, Villa de Florenza stands in a class of its own. What began as a much-needed getaway exceeded every expectation.The villa's craftsmanship is immediately apparent. Marble countertops grace both the kitchen and vanity, setting an elegant tone throughout. The kitchen is a cook's dream — fully stocked with every implement you could need. Outside, a large grill invites al fresco dining, while a fire pit beckons the more adventurous chef. Even the dinner plates are Italian, keeping true to the Tuscan spirit of the home.Sleep was never an issue. The queen beds are supremely comfortable, and one bedroom features an adjustable bed — ideal for anyone who benefits from an elevated sleeping position.The pool strikes a perfect balance — spacious enough for real swimming yet scaled to complement the outdoor space. The built-in hot tub was a highlight, kept fresh by an ingenious daily self-filtering water-exchange system.What elevated this stay most were the hosts. Upon arrival, we received a cheerful, thorough tour covering everything from room layouts to light switches and towel locations. All requests throughout our stay were handled promptly. Some hosts live on the far side of the property — accessible yet unobtrusive. Getting to know them added a warmth that no amenity can replicate.Whether seeking pure rest or a base to explore the surrounding area, Villa de Florenza delivers on every front. It gets our highest possible recommendation.

We had to contact the owner to get the hot tub turned on. It took 45 minutes to get up to temperature. The pool was cold & dirty. The pool heater was broken. They had the pool service in on one day which helped the cleanliness for about half of a day. They were kind enough to let us know where the pool net was so we could clean it. BBQ was really dirty. Outside table, chairs & rug were dirty. The outside TV worked but was old & didn’t support any of the apps anymore. We went to Walmart & bought a Roku which worked fine. The house inside was clean & comfy.

Nice property, and very communicative hosts. Everything was very clean, and the home was well stocked.

This property is sparkling clean and beautiful. We love the pool and hot tub which was relaxing after our excursion to Death Valley. Liz was there for everything we needed. Loved her dogs who visited us and make us smile. Would definitely stay here again!
