About this cottage rental
In the green hills of the Serra de Tramuntana is the Vall d'en March and it's beautiful Camp of the Booth farm. Property is an ideal starting point for long walks in the Sierra Tramuntana, in addition to the nearest beaches are easily accessible by car. Especially nice is the careful Mediterranean garden with mountain views available inside the dining room with direct access to covered terrace overlooking the pool. Fully equipped kitchen with access to the terrace and the dining room. Wood stove. BBQ on the terrace. Stone facades. TVSAT to room. This close to great beaches in the bay of Pollensa and Alcudia are several golf courses and shopping facility for restaurants and nightlife. Cette petite maison a répondu en tous points à nos attentes : être au calme dans un bel endroit reposant. La maison est au bord d'une zone naturelle protégée et les maisons environnantes sont peu nombreuses. Les seuls bruits du début de soirée sont les clochettes des moutons! Le beau jardin qui entoure la piscine est idéal pour les après midi lecture entrecoupés d'un petit bain rafraichissant. La maison en elle-même est très bien équipée, que ce soit au niveau des sanitaires ou des équipements de cuisine. La WiFi est sans doute lente, mais ce n'était pas notre priorité !
Enfin, Antonia est une propriétaire très agréable et sympathique, à la fois attentive et discrète.
Si nous revenons à Mallorque, ce sera à coup sûr dans cette maison !

A fabulous place to get away and relax, yet close to towns, beaches and attractions. Great wildlife. Vultures, Eagles, Hoopoes, shrikes etc seen every day. Pool was perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was very peaceful and private during our time there and the perfect place to relax and forget about the stresses of everyday life!
The garden is spacious, beautiful and the views are simply stunning! The pool is fantastic and a perfect size for cooling off after a long, hot walk! There are a few different seating areas both in the shade and in the sun and it was lovely to have the room to move around from sun to shade during the hot weather.
The house is lovely and had a lovely, homely feel to it with some nice ornaments, interesting art work and rustic touches. It has a well equipped kitchen with plenty of pans for cooking if you prefer to self cater, with a dishwasher and washing machine.
It's located very close to the long distance GR221 footpath, otherwise known as "the dry stone route" and it's a lovely part of footpath to follow, without being too challenging. The nearest town is approx 5-6km away where there are plenty of options to eat out if that's your preference.
Antonia was very pleasant and polite and left us to enjoy the property without intruding on us. She always had a friendly smile and a wave when passing by in her car.
There were just a couple of things that would have made things more comfortable:
Firstly the garden furniture. We spent a lot of time, most afternoons, sitting outside reading and relaxing by the pool but the garden chairs were really uncomfortable to sit on, despite there being small seat pads. It was such a shame as the garden is an absolute joy to sit out in and our stay would have otherwise been perfect. I would have given it 5 stars if we could have sat outside in more comfort.
Secondly, as mentioned by another reviewer, the air conditioning. It came on at 3.50am every morning and turned itself off at around midday and then we couldn't get it to turn back on again when we really needed it it in the late afternoon/evening.
These two issues are minor niggling points and didn't really stop us from enjoying our stay there. Overall, it's a great place to stay and we will likely return to continue walking in the area.
