About this house rental
Located in Salt Spring Island, this attractive house for $123 per night is a great option for your next break. Separate entry sunny walkout apartment feels like your own cottage overlooking Prevost and Mayne Islands. Completely renovated (spring 2020) and newly furnished with modern farmhouse touches. Our property is a hobby farm and supports an orchard, a perennial flower garden (pick your own bouquet), and nearby trails for you to explore. And of course there are our hens who provide fresh eggs daily. We are centrally located: only 2 km walk to Cusheon Lake swimming; 3.5 km to Beddis Beach; 7 km to Ganges.

We loved our stay on SSI! The suite is amazingly well equipped, comfortable, and in a conveniently central but also quiet location. Comfy beds, great wifi, friendly dogs, and an ocean view. What more could you ask for? 😄

We hugely enjoyed our stay at Ted's. Great location close to Ganges and all the other gorgeous beaches and hikes on the island.
The apartment is very spacious, with everything one could possibly need. The highlight for us was the chicken coop and Bill and Charlotte, Ted's lovely dogs that came to play every day.
Janet was super accommodating when we needed to change our dates and very quick to respond. Hopefully we'll be back soon!

We had a wonderful time staying in your suite! The views of the ocean from the deck were amazing. The suite was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Ted is a very gracious and personable host. The biggest treat our stay were the family dogs, Bill and Charlotte! They are so sweet and would greet us 1-2x every day. Bill always wants to play fetch while Charlotte would just hang out and chill haha. We don't have dogs so being around them brought us real joy! Staying in your suite, playing with the dogs, and enjoying what Saltspring Island had to offer fed our souls 🥰 We will definitely be back! Winston, Erin, and Danielle Soriano (Richmond, BC)

Little piece of heaven
We very much enjoyed our home in the woods with its peaceful view and calm vibe. The suite is homey and comfortable. The chickens and the dogs add extra fun to the experience! Great central location. The owners have built and maintained a lovely place.

Coming back to Salt Spring after 3 years of covid, Wintercreek was a beautiful place to stay. Bill and Charlotte greeted us every morning, and Ted was a friendly and wonderful host, and helpful during the windstorm and power outage!! Thanks Ted.

The property was even better than the pictures. Spacious. Quiet. Comfortable. Air conditioning was great. The x-large picture windows gave a great view. It had everything we needed. We will definitely try to re-book when we come back to Saltspring!

We really enjoyed a piece of mind staying at this suite. The building is located on a hill and surrounded by the forest which makes you feel as if you are in an isolated, quiet, timeless area with the scenic ocean and mountain view on the horizon.
There is a henhouse that you can go and pick some eggs for your breakfast and a garden with tayberries and apples next to the pond on a lower terrace of the family-owned plot of land. Family of deers came to our place every morning and we were so happy about it with our little daughter who enjoyed this closeness with the wild animals.
The suite itself is larger and brighter than you can expect. We really liked an interior combination of rustic old-fashion furniture with the brand new comfortable bed mattress, sofa, armchairs, and kitchen cabinetry. Everything is brand new. We also liked a patio area that we used for dining in the open air next to a grass-covered lawn descending down from the hill.
Do not forget to ask Ted to take you on a half-day long voyage to Galiano island through quiet ocean passages with crab fishing along the way, to discover more of the beautiful Gulf Islands area.
The vibrant Ganges harbour town is just 15 min. drive from the farmhouse. There you can find all the amenities you are used to in big cities yet with islander chic.
Highly recommend this place for those who want to escape from busy city yet not trading off a comfortable lifestyle.

A little piece of paradise
I just came back from a week at this beautiful place. The host was so helpful and friendly, the property grounds are breath taking plus the apartment is just as beautiful as the photos. The apartment felt more like a small house with an outdoor patio and table to enjoy the summer nights. I will be coming back and will also be recommending to friends that want to find a quiet hill top piece of paradise on the island, 10 min walk from Cusheon Lake.
