First of all, I would like to thank the hotel staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, friendly and helpful. When we needed to extend our stay, it was arranged without any problems at all. The Wi-Fi was good, and the location is absolutely fantastic — just a one-minute walk to the beach. Fresh towels were provided regularly, with the used ones taken away for washing. The breakfast terrace is amazing, with a beautiful and breathtaking view of the sea. The rooms are very clean, and the housekeeping is excellent — the room was cleaned every day to a very high standard. Bottled water in the room was also replenished every day.
There were only a couple of things that bothered us during our stay. Since we stayed for more than eight days, we eventually found the breakfast a little repetitive. It would be nice to have more variety, for example oatmeal, scrambled eggs or omelettes with vegetables instead of plain eggs.
The air conditioning was also quite difficult to manage. It kept turning on by itself, even during the night, and the airflow was very strong. We had to keep switching it off, but it would turn back on again.
The mattress was another issue for us. It was very soft and seemed somewhat worn and already sagging, which made sleeping less comfortable. However, the bed linen itself was very clean and well maintained.
There is also an issue with stray dogs in the streets around Ksamil. This is definitely not the hotel’s fault and seems to be a problem throughout the area, but they bark continuously throughout the night. They also sometimes approach or attack cars and their wheels. Unfortunately, the constant barking makes it almost impossible to sleep with the window open, and it can still be heard even with the windows closed. I hope something can eventually be done about this issue in Ksamil.
