Very convenient location, affordable prices, and staff is personable and accommodating.

Clean and simple room! Quiet and peaceful in the evening. Check-in process was smooth and the staff are super accommodating.

Does the job for a short stay like 1-2 nights, wouldn’t recommend for a longer stay

Room size and bed size was good, bathroom was decent Owners at the Front desk were friendly, helpful and nice! I had to request a delay in checkout by 1 hour and they agreed for free

No proper lighting in the room Sofa in the room was dirty Shower had someone else’s hair from before No electric kettle in the room Had to ask for cups/mugs No breakfast or food facility

Very good accommodation in eastern Pasadena at a reasonable price - highly recommended

I stayed at Pasadena Lodge for two single nights, three days apart. I liked the reasonable pricing and the condition of my room (the same room both times). The room and its bathroom were in very good condition and very clean, spacious, and everything worked well. There were electrical outlets everywhere I needed them, and there was a refrigerator. The air conditioner was effective, clean, and not too noisy. The free wifi didn't work well during my first visit, but very well during the second visit. I will book Pasadena Lodge again for my next visits.

My room was much better inside than the general place looked from the outside. I think some updates of the exterior would help to attract more guests.

I didn't sleep well in the room and regret staying there.

There was no breakfast

I found some dead bed bugs and stains on the side of the bed and the couch has stains very dirty and stuffy. There was no window to see from outside as it looked very closed in. When I checked out the ringer was not working. Had to wait for the manager 15 minutes to give the card key back as I had to call the number of the motel for her to come to the counter.

It feels like you're sleeping right on the street

Location. Grapefruit tree on parking. Friendly stuff.

When I got to the motel I was asked to prepay for all 3 nights. Later I probably understood why. The first room smelled of moody and even had mold stains on the ceiling. I asked to change the room and got the next one in the corridor. 2nd room smelled mildew too, but not as strong. I don't like to call it "it smelled acceptable" when we talk about fungus, but I was so tired (9 hours of jet lag and all day driving to LA) and just wanted to end the day, but...I couldn't sleep - I heard the street! Literally... I even checked the window to see if there was any glass pane missing. And then I saw why. The distance from the door to the frame was about 1 cm wide. You could almost stick your finger in there! I complained about this to the reception early in the morning and they offered me the room with no window in the corner. It was about 10 meters from my second room but also 10 meters from the street. In theory it should be quieter. 3rd room smelled mildew too. Something between 1st and 2nd room. But it had the same problem with the door, so I wouldn't believe it's much quieter. Later, while dinning, I started to fink about last night and the night ahead and started to think how to fix it. So, I broke my dinner and drove to the next "Home Depot" and bought 5 meters of insulation tape for windows. When I was back in the motel, I asked the front desk for some scissors (Big Up!) and pasted this insulation into that space. And you know guys, from now this insulation tape will be in my bag wherever I travel! XD P.S. Just forgot to tell. The corner room had different type of A/C. It couldn't cool, but it watered the floor on the distance of a meter!

Quiet and central

We returned for our second stay because of the wood floor, the walk-in shower and the long vanity. Our room was very quiet and the location is quite convenient to everything in the Pasadena area.

The hotel is in the process of being remodeled and hopefully they’ll replace the outdated furniture soon. Loved the walk-in shower but the water pressure was weak. Also, there was hot water in the sink but only lukewarm water in the shower.

Convenient location in Pasadena

Loved the wood floor (so much more sanitary than carpet) and the walk-in shower. Very quiet room, comfortable bed and pillows, wonderful long vanity with lots of space, large refrigerator, easy parking.

No place to hang clothes, old/dated furniture, no desk chair. Looks like they’re in the process of remodeling. If the room is brought up to the quality of the bathroom, this will be an even better place to stay.

no central air heater or comforter on bed in room. furniture very beat up and in poor condition. corner room next to some machinery or tool shed.

I had a nice stay

I liked the soundproofing, i really couldn’t hear other guests. The location was great, the staff was very friendly and it has lots of parking.

The bed was comfy but the bed frame made a popping noise when getting into and out of bed.

Thanks for providing a room that was a great value for my money.

The location was close to the Pasadena Masonic Temple where we were attending a folk dance weekend. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I would like one at home. The heater unit was so noisy it was hard to sleep.

Very good

I loved that it had a decent working mini fridge and a decent working microwave. I like the overall atmosphere in the whole motel. It has a nostalgic type of old movie vibe. The heating system work great! The shower worked great.

We had a wonderful stay with easy access to the Rose Bowl parade and downtown Pasadena.

Staff were great. Room was very clean. I appreciated the walk in shower. Beds were comfortable. The hotel was basic but good value for rates charged.

I would have loved to have a coffee maker in the room.

7/10 definitely would stay again.

the shower was lovely. the heater and the A/C works. they have a fridge and a microwave. and the staff were amazing

they don’t have blankets. just sheets. and mine had white stains on them. I asked for another one but they said no.

Friendly check-in but not for me

It was quiet at night. I was able to park my car close to my room. The bathroom was a good size. The man who checked me in gave me a pillow an blanket a couple hours after I told him how bare my room was.

My bed had one pillow. It was made with two flat sheets and nothing more. When I asked for another pillow I was told there was no housekeeping staff.
