About this house rental
Nestled in Butler Beach, this lovely house for $469 per night is a great option for your next trip. Summary: Stay in our bright new beach house, just two blocks to the beach! Our unique space is perfect for large extended family get togethers or groups who are looking for separate spaces under one roof. In just a short 5 minute walk, you can be at the beach with your toes in the sand, enjoying your morning cup of coffee while you watch the sunrise. Enjoy our newly added hot tub, too! Heaven! The Space: Walk up the stairs to the 2nd floor and you'll find a bright, large, open-plan living room, kitchen and dining room with two sets of french doors that open out to the deck. Upstairs has two queen bedrooms and a bathroom with tub/shower combo as well as a washer and dryer for your convenience. New comfort height queen air mattress provided. Sleeps 6 The downstairs space has two separate queen bedrooms. The north bedroom studio sleeps 4 on a queen size bed and full size pull out memory foam mattress. Enjoy your own wet/coffee bar and bathroom with large walk- in shower. Sleeps 2 adults & 2 kids. The downstairs South Bedroom has a queen size bedroom with separate living space, wet/coffee bar and en suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower. The living space has a sofa as well where one person could sleep. Sleeps 3 adults. Rinse off after a day at the beach in our outdoor shower and enjoy salty ocean breezes anytime of the day on our wrap around deck. Newly added hot tub can be found downstairs as well. ** Please note: the house is arranged in three separate spaces. The downstairs suites are adjoined by a connecting door which can be double locked. To access the upstairs unit, you must walk outside and up the steps onto the deck. There is no interior staircase.** Guest Access: Guests will have access to the entire property. Smart keypad locks on all doors. The Neighborhood: Our quiet little residential neighborhood is nestled among the dunes at Crescent Beach -- just a 15 minute drive to downtown St. Augustine. Getting Around: Driving is the best option to get around St. Augustine. Uber/Lyft are available and recommended if you plan to go out at night. Other Things to Note: Pets considered on a case by case basis. Pet fees apply. Please inquire before bringing pets to ensure you do not incur additional fees. Please note, the house is on the opposite side of the street as the mailbox. Please look for the numbers on the house, not the mailbox, to ensure you are in the correct location. ** Credit card processing fees will NOT be refunded in the event of a cancellation ** ** Hot tub is used at your own risk ** Interaction with Guests: We are not on site but always a phone call or message away.

This home was the perfect respite from the crowds of the old town. Beautifully updated, well appointed, and clean. We didn't realize that the stairs were only outdoors, so we felt a little disconnected from the kids bedrooms when we turned in for the night, but this could be an ideal arrangement for extra privacy or up to 3 different couples/families sharing the house.

We were in love with the house and how it had a bedroom and bathroom for everyone. We were a quick Uber ride away from all the downtown fun. You can hear the ocean so clearly, especially at night. It was about a 10 minute walk all the way to the water, we went at night and it was the coolest experience. Thanks for a great stay, we will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay in April 2021. It's really close to the beach, just a 5-minute walk! The indoors is just like in the pictures very clean and new. I only wish the outdoors was a bit cozier.

The most important thing about this house is that viewers should know that there is way more to this house than the pictures reveal. When I was looking for a beach location to take my family to after Christmas, I liked that the house said it slept 10. The reviews were good so I gave it a try although I will confess that my daughters were very skeptical of being happy with the rental given that some of the pictures showed things like a single artificial plant or a shelf with 8 drinking glasses on it. They thought that if that's all the owner could find to photograph then something must be missing. I also had trouble understanding the bedroom layout and bathrooms. I'm very glad that I took a chance on the property. It was perfect for our family. The house has two separate floors. The top floor is reached by a set of stairs on the outside of the house. This floor contains two bedrooms-both with queen size beds, one has a washer dryer combination in a closet. There is a bathroom with tub/shower. There is also a large living room with wrap around couch, table that seats six and large kitchen island that seats 4. The four grandchildren sat there and loved it. The bottom floor, with walk in doors on both the left and the right side of the house, contains two bedrooms and they both have queens with the larger bedroom also having a pull out couch. As soon as you walk in there in a living room area with couch and tv and a studio apartment kitchenette. I would suggest to the owner that they add a 2 person small table and chairs. There are two bathrooms downstairs. One that enters from the living area and one inside what might be considered to be a master bedroom. The house was perfect for our visit because we were bringing three generations and had three family units. So everyone got their own space with bathroom. On the outside there are also two large wooden picnic tables that we used for lunch when the kids were still in swimsuits and sandy. There is an outdoor shower that we really appreciated. The four children would shower outside after the beach. No sand ended up inside the house-YAY! Because of Covid, we did not go to any of the many activities in St. Augustine. We walked the short distance to the beach multiple times and enjoyed our time together. There is a Publix two miles away as well as delicious barbeque. IN ALL THE HOUSE WAS PERFECT. THANK YOU! 5 Stars

Separate living spaces between the upstairs and down was nice for the teenagers to have their own space. And the short walk to the beach could not have been easier.
