About this house rental
Nestled in Butler Beach, this lovely house for $309 per night is a great choice for your next trip. Welcome to the Shore Thing Beach Retreat! This beautifully renovated home has 4 bedrooms. Upstairs you will find the kitchen, living room, and 2 bedrooms (both with a king bed). Our kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook a meal for your family. You can relax on the comfortable sofas after a long day of exploring downtown or the beach. Downstairs there is one bedroom with two queen beds (and an en suite bathroom) and one king bedroom. This property is located one block off the beach, with a short walk to the dune walkover. It's also not far from the historic downtown area. The history of St. Augustine is incomparable with almost any other on our coast. Founded in 1565 it is chock full of amazing places to visit, from the oldest house to the first schoolroom, to the impenetrable fort built by the Spanish. Lincolnville, just south of downtown St. Augustine takes you on a walking tour of the history of the civil rights movement noting where Martin Luther King stayed on numerous occasions. Needless to say, there’s also so many unique shops, and the restaurants are so varied and truly have an international flavor! There are things to do no matter the weather! You can take a free boat ride to Fort Matanzas and learn the history about the battles fought. Further south is Marineland where you can swim with dolphins! The St. Augustine and St Johns County area have a great variety of golf courses for players of every level and skill. There are always concerts at St. Augustine Amphitheatre and events at Francis Field as well. You will never run out of things to do here in St. Augustine. It is probably one of the most beautiful places in all of Florida, and for sure one of the most photographed! Come and see for yourself! The cleaning company provides a limited amount of basic necessities (toilet paper, trash bags, dishwasher/laundry soap, etc.) to get you started, you will want to bring some with you. Garbage and recycling must be taken out to the street Sunday night for Monday morning pickup. We don't offer refunds or reschedule stays during hurricane season, even if there is an evacuation order. Please purchase trip insurance for your stay if this is a concern. EV Charging: There is a fee of $5 per day if you will be charging an electric vehicle at the home.

We enjoyed our stay. The house was nice and comfortable. Large tv's in each room. It took us about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. We'll definitely keep this rental on our list of vacation spots.

Home is spacious and exactly as decribed, very clean and comfortable. Only recommendation i would make would be to replace the singleserve keurig with a larger dispenser, just a personal preference

Great access to the beach- comfortable beds & plenty of room for all! Kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils,glasses,coffee k-cup, etc…
Showers were spacious with plenty of hot water (5 teenage girls in the house!). I would definitely stay again & recommend!

Family flew in from New York to celebrate the start of the holiday season. we could not have picked a better house or location. The description was right on point, the house was not only spotless, but so spacious for all of us, with a television in every bedroom something you never see or get. A block from the beach and less than 10 minutes from all the activity in downtown Saint Augustine. This was a win for us! We will definitely go back.

The house was perfect. My wife and I along with our grown children had a wedding to attend in St Augustine. It was a busy weekend. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Would stay again.

This is our 3rd trip and stay in St Augustine, we always enjoy it,but this time we were looking for something bigger for all our family and I have to say,this property is excellent in every possible way.It is clean,modern,comfortable, spacious, close to everything. David is very prompt and easy to communicate with. I dont think i want to stay anywhere else on our future trips here and i just hope this property will be available. Thank you very much for letting us be here.

Lovely clean home exactly as advertised with only a very brief walk to the beach. Kitchen is very well stocked with dishes and cookware. Ample comfortable bedding for our group of 6. Owners were easy to communicate with and had a "house-book" that listed things to do and recommended restaurants. Neighborhood is quiet and very walkable. Beach is wide, clean, and uncrowded as well as pet-friendly (we did not bring our dog but it was nice to see the dogs on the beach.
We have been to Sunset Grille multiple times and it is always good. Also tried Mojo's Tacos which was delicious.

This is a super clean, beautiful property close to the beach. It has a great layout where our families all had plenty of room and privacy. It is convenient to lots of dining and shopping to suit anyone's needs. The host was very helpful with a notebook of their favorites and recommendations for dining, entertainment, etc. which we used throughout our stay. We hope to stay there again when we are in the area!

Very clean. Boardwalk to beach was short walking distance. Beach nice and secluded. Quiet neighborhood. House was nice. Our family had plenty of room.

Great location to walk around the corner to the beach. House has all the basic necessities for a vacation. Management and staff very prompt to answer questions. Loved looking for all the gopher turtles in the neighborhood and on the boardwalk to the beach! Neighbors friendly too!

This home met all of our needs and then some. It was spacious, comfortable, and filled all of our needs. Our gracious hosts David and Patti were easy and pleasant to communicate with. Each of the rooms was well equipped with a comfortable bed and large screen tv. It was an absolute pleasure to cook in the spacious kitchen. Let me not forget the wrap around balcony and deck that overlooked the backyard and hosted our family on game night. If the house wasn't enough of a reason to stay here, the two minute walk to the beach definitely a selling point. My family and I would be grateful to stay there again!

We really enjoyed our time in Butler Beach. Location was prefect- quiet beach to relax and minutes away from sights and great restaurants. Loved being able to walk to the beach as well as in Saint Augustine town. The house was perfect for our family. We made some nice dinners, watched a movie together, and spent long mornings in the back porch sipping coffee. The kitchen set up was really nice and we were so happy to have a nice bedroom on a separate floor as well as two main bedrooms on the main floor. Already looking at our calendar to repeat our getaway in the fall.

Wonderful place to stay! The bedrooms each have their own bathroom, the rooms are large, the property has modern finishes, the beach access is a block away, and the neighborhood was quiet but welcoming! The beds we’re comfortable. The only problem was the water pressure in the kitchen sink. But that wouldn’t keep me from renting this place again.

Our experience at this house was 150% wonderful! My wife and I brought our 4 kids to St Augustine for spring break and this house was perfect for us. Exactly like it was listed and even prettier in person. The hosts had the house stocked with kitchenware, towels, and everything we would need to feel at home. Not the mention, SUPER CLEAN!! The house is SO close to Butler Beach. We walked down there several times a day even with a 1 year old who recently learned to walk. The neighborhood was quiet and the people around us were all very nice. I recommend staying in this house to anyone who loves visiting the beach and feeling at home while on vacation. I cannot say enough wonderful things!
