About this house rental
Situated in Grand Marais, this charming house for $275 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. A two bedroom one bath with a pull out couch. Private off road parking in the summer & on the road in the winter. The house was remodeled and has a great yard with an awesome view overlooking Lake Superior. This is my Mom and Dad’s house. Dad is in the VA in Silver Bay and Mom passed a few years ago. We put a lot into the house and want to have it cared for the way we think it should.This is why we have a no dogs and no kids under10 at this time. We hope you stay with us and love The View as much as our family. Thanks Mickey and Dee

We do a North Shore trip every Fall. It was so great to be in the heart of Grand Marais just blocks from the lake and restaurants with a wonderful view from the house. Check-in was easy and we had no issues. Thank you!

I was surprised how large the main room was, even though the photos showed it that way. Thankful for recliners and lovely view and deck. Thoughtful owner responded quickly and we even got to meet him. Comfortable beds. Appreciated the full kitchen that had condiments light ketchup and mayonnaise, etc. Right next to brewery but they close early and were never loud. Close to everything if you want to go and do, but lovely to just stay and relax there, too!

My husband and I spent a long weekend in Grand Marais and hiked in the area. The house was a perfect home base for taking in the north shore. We had everything we needed and more. It is very conveniently located so we didn’t drive in town at all. The views from the deck or out the living room window paired perfectly with my morning coffee. Would highly recommended!

We love Grand Marais! We’ve been coming for years but always stayed at the municipal campground and loved it. After selling our camper, we had to find a new way to get our World’s Best Donuts and enjoy GM. Mickey and Dee’s place is perfect! Awesome location, easy walk from everything. Tons of thoughtful touches throughout. Mickey was responsive and patient when we were clueless and couldn’t figure something out. Super comfortable beds, nice linens and towels. Super clean. Nice new flooring, huge round dining table which was great for games and a fantastic deck to enjoy the lake breeze. We will definitely try to get in again.

The space amd layout of the house was great, lots of wimdows amd could not beat the location. The view of lake from living room is beautiful. Nice having a brewery right next door! No loud music and they close at 10 so no worries about noise. We walked everywhere, nice to shop, drop stuff off amd go back out again. Check on was a breeze! Will definitely come back to this place!

I live in Grand Marais and booked The View for my family when they visited recently. The property is so well-loved and cared for, really clean and spacious for four adults. Mickey was available to answer questions. The location was great and the fold out sofa bed was actually quite comfortable thanks to an extra foam mattress topper!

The home is exactly as described. The living room if very large and the reclincers are very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds are comfortable. There are plenty of towels. The home is close to town and we were able to walk to places to eat. We were very happy with our stay.

The pictures of this house do not do it justice!! We loved our stay and it had everything we needed. Spacious living area and bedrooms were great. The location was PERFECT and the town was a great pleasant surprise as we were there for a snow ski trip but ended up touring the little town as well. The house was clean, cozy and exactly as described!
