Large, spacious bedroom. Characterful old decor. Kitchen with fridge, crockery and cutlery as well as dining table, a nice place to sit with a glass of German wine. Friendly staff at reception. Pretty good value for Leipzig, in a quiet neighbourhood just a few minutes walk from Augustusplatz and city centre.
Only one shared bathroom (though two toilets) for the whole corridor sometimes resulted in long waits.

This place, located in buildings formerly used by the Breitkopf & Härtel Music Publishing Company, is very cool. Staff is super helpful, rooms are large to huge (some of them a bit “retro”). The location is very convenient. Only caveat: latest check-in is 22:00 (reception closes at 19:00, pick up keys from the bar after that). On site restaurant and bar which I never tried but which look tempting. I stay here regularly and never once was disappointed.
I only had breakfast once: overpriced for what it offers - as in almost every other place.

Friendly staff. Easy to park.
The room was in the third floor with no lift. We found a glass in our room. I guess it was from the previous guest, therefore I am not so sure about the cleaning between guests. The mattresses were too soft and I ended up with back pain. The lock to take a shower in the shared bathroom did not work.
