Hotel was great, room wonderful and staff super helpful and friendly!
This was also the place that started my love affair with the city of Leipzig! :) So much so, and to prove my wife wrong about the city, we're returning - to the exact same hotel and (hopefully) the same room!
The room was just too annoying comfortable! Made checkout very painful. ;)

Just stayed overnight and didn't have breakfast. Room was perfect for our needs.
Room was very hot. There is no air conditioning but there was a plug-in fan which helped.

It had a nice bathroom, bed was fine.
The fridge was warm. Pillows were super uncomfortable (too high), so much so that using duvet instead was way better. No air conditioning, so it was barely bearable in the heat of 33 degrees. Also the street is quite loud, which together with heat was terrible, we were not able to sleep with windows open.

Proximity to the main station and public transportation + the size and cleanliness of the room + very comfy bed
The sound proofing in my room was pretty bad, My bad luck I had an early bird above my room who was probably working out in his room for half an hour or so, walking all the time. I could hear his footsteps right throughout. The hotel is right next to very busy tram lines and can be pretty noisy if your room is adjacent or facing the tram lines. Even though I asked for a quiet room far from street traffic, I was given a room smack close to the tram line and couldn't get a good sleep. Just for this reason of poor customer care, I'm giving a 5/10 rating.
