May need some TLC around cleanliness, but we understand it’s a huge property and will be hard to keep on top of, but otherwise lovely

The place is super and quirky which makes a difference from the bland white labelled bedrooms for the night
Not sure if there is a breakfast available however thought I ordered a breakfast but did not see the facilities

Basically we had our own private house for a couple days. More like an Air B&B vibe than a hotel. Location was good- close to town.

The communal areas were stunning , tastefully decorated with designer furniture. However only stayed for one night and didn't have the benefit of enjoying them.
The room was small, the designer furniture and soft furnishings, over the top for such a small space. The heating couldn't be controlled and was overly hot (25fegrees) to the point that a portable room fan had been left on and the window open for our arrival. The bathroom sink was stone effect, but the material it was covered with was cracked all around the edges exposing the material underneath. There was a curtain missing and the single curtain remaining didnt cover the window fully. 3 chairs in such a small space was too much, a table for the coffee machine would have been more practical, instead they were low down on a tray on top of a chest in the corner of the room. We felt the room was over priced at £125 for 1 night with no breakfast included. To add insult to injury, we received amessage by email 40 minutes before check in time advising that we should contact the owner and pay an additional £30 if we were travelling with a dog. This was the first mention of any charge for dogs and the email didn't provide contact details for the owner.
