Both hosts were amazing. Peter met me at the lodge to show me everything, make sure I knew where things were, and anything I might need. Kitchen had everything you’d need to make food. There’s a fridge/freezer, oven, stove, dishwasher and even a washing machine. Peter offered to start a fire for me or to let them know if I needed help with anything. He even offered to clean up after I cooked (this goes so far beyond my expectations of a B and B)… which I did not take- but appreciated. Peter took me up to the fairy fort on the property to see it, which I loved. Stunning views of the surrounding valley. You can also see a mound, in which a bishop was buried from the top of the fort. Theres five cows, beautiful. There’s a farm dog, Patch, on the property who loves playing with rocks. I watched her happily, barking at the rock and carrying them around. She could have her own social media- “Patch and her Rocks”. She truly lives a dogs’ best life. The property is quiet and peaceful- a great stay for any reason. Parking is directly in front of the of the lodge and makes taking things in and out of rental very easy. Stay here if you appreciate kindness and joy. These hosts are lovely.

Beautiful location so peaceful
No outside light not working. The sofa is so hard very uncomfortable and shower is very poor no power. The owner could perhaps do with some help cleaning not a high standard.
