We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this B&B and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
The beds were really comfortable, and Val, our host, was so lovely, friendly and welcoming. He took the time to tell us all about the area, which was really nice.
There were teas and coffees available, along with a fridge and microwave in the hallway, which was so handy and a lovely added touch.
We were attending an RTÉ recording in the Swan Bar, so the location was absolutely perfect for us. It was within easy walking distance, which made everything so convenient.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. A lovely B&B with a wonderful host!
There was absolutely nothing we didn't like about our stay. Everything was fabulous, from the comfortable beds to the lovely, welcoming host and the great location. We couldn't fault anything and would happily stay here again.

Property was perfect. Host v welcoming and friendly! Lots of information available for the local area which is great if we were able to stay longer! Very clean and comfortable. Shower lovely and hot.
We had travelled 2.5 hours and asked if two of our friends could change in our room on arrival, informed Mary they would be literally only be changing into their dresses, 2 ladies. She said she would have to charge 25e. I mean to change clothes and it would cost them 25e. Felt this was something I would hear on radio. Literally only negative thing I could say about this stay!

I think the location is perfect it's nice and peaceful b and b I had the best sleep of my life there the beds were so comfy and the rooms and it was so quiet jist like u would want after travelling all day you would just want to get to bed in quiteness and a comfy bed and they had both and the husband and wife are so welcoming there lovely people keep it up uee are doing a great job. Continental Breakfast was advertised which I was led to believe would be available but when I presented for Breakfast was told by the host no Breakfast- I could have tea and coffee in my room!Now as a complete stranger to the location on a Sunday morning out in “the middle of nowhere” in the countryside can you imagine how I felt! If Its only Bed that’s being offered that should be made very clear on the site
No signage was visible re the guest house location My sat nav took me to the wrong house by 2 When I finally located the residence I saw a small little sign saying Acrewooda house which was practically covered by greenery I did mention this to Val and he said a sign was in process of being procured.Another thing the idea of a shared Bathroom does not appeal to me meeting other guests first thing in the morning coming from the bathroom.
