This is one of the cleanest homes we've stayed in; it was immaculate. The kitchen was well stocked, the jacuzzi worked well, was clean, and heated quickly. The game room, with a pool table and very well maintained accessories, as well as the arcade game table (over 100 games) was used every single day. Three bdrms were suites with their own bathroom, and the 4th had a full bath right outside the bdrm door. The location was wonderful, just a short 10 walk to the lake. And, I ran 6 to 9 miles daily, and the paved Alpine Pedal Path was just a 4.7 miles drive. The check-in process was a two-step process, which I would love changed to just receiving a code 30 minutes before check-in. However, this is only a slight annoyance in what was a marvelous home.

Our stay was actually very nice. My husband came out of the hospital around 7pm. Our sons were able to checkin for us. Thank you management for helping us facilitate that. With my husbands health issues we were all able to gather and celebrate Life and Christmas together. The house was very nice. We’ve decided we’d like to do this every year. Just a bigger house, more bedrooms because we want to share this experience with more of us. Thank you!

Power was out for at least 7 hours & I did not get a call back regarding issue. We were in the dark. Had to run to store to get candles, flashlights & latterns. Several messages were left for me to receive it a call back regarding issue & never got it :(Overall everything was great.

Our favorite things were: the enormous backyard and deck, the yard lighting, the bocce ball court, game closet on the deck, the game room, the hot tub, the fireplace, the layout. Will be returning, and by chance if not to this particular cabin just so we can explore others, we will definitely rent from Big Bear Lakefront Cabins once again.

We really like it! Enough beds and bathrooms if you are a large family. Near to the lake, village and groceries stores.

Cabin was very clean and spacious. The hot tub was a hit! We loved spending time in there. One of the ceiling fans in the top room was wobbly so we didn't want to leave it on but luckily it was cool enough in the room that we were find without it. Management was notified of it and I'm sure it was fixed. Communication was great with the property management. Walk to Lake isn't very far but it is downhill to get there so it will be more convenient to drive. Overall, the cabin was great and they offered a 10% discount upon a future Cabin rental which was very appreciated! Thank you

Cabin was very clean and spacious. The hot tub was a hit! We loved spending time in there. We had a family reunion on June 12 for three nights at the Narrow Escape - Walk to Lake and all I can say if Wow this is one great cabin. We had 4 families with us and each had there own bedroom and bathroom. This cabin has everything we needed and more. The pool table and arcade game was a great for the boys and the patio over looking the Lake was where we spent the evenings. This was the best vacation we have ever had and hope to return in the near future.

Overall we had a good experience staying four nights at this property. The Pros: The home was clean, with a well stocked kitchen and initial set of bath towels. (With a washer and dryer, one set is all we needed). Everything was in working order. The home had four bedrooms which allowed us to spread out, a real plus with two toddlers and all their stuff. We enjoyed the huge deck where we played board games, ate meals and enjoyed the quiet sounds of the forest. There is a “peek a boo” look at the lake and the mountains beyond. Beautiful setting. A real plus was the totally fenced backyard to confine the littles. Also, we enjoyed soaking the the hot tub after the end of the day. It is well maintained and clean. Cons: only two. We love King beds because we are tall people and this place had two kings. BUT, it is time to replace the two Kings in the upstairs rooms. Last, be aware the pic of the property shows healthy grass in from and backyard. Well, during our stay the grass was still in the brown, dormant winter stage so don’t be alarmed. (This is no big deal to me but want you to not be surprised). In sum, a good time was had by all. I would consider this property again.

My family and I rented Narrow Escape for my 40th birthday and it was just perfect! The decks and backyard were the best part. So much space, a beautiful view and plenty of grass for playing games. We grilled and ate outside and the kids played in the grass and bocce ball. Such a great trip and we can’t wait to go back!

Second to none
Our family took a trip with some friends of ours and their children. The property was perfect for us. The yard was large enough to play the games available, even cornhole. Plenty of beds and the game room was a gigantic hit.

Fine cabin. Bedrooms, beds are very nice, clean. The jacuzzi with the view beautiful. Games (packman, table pool) we really enjoyed. Nice location, morning walk to the lake is nice. BBQ grill works fine.
The light switches a bit confusing. Need better labeling. The downstairs bedroom was cold. Leaving area and dining table a bit small for 10 people.

The property is beautiful with a breathtaking view. Nicely maintained and good for families with small children. Lots of room for kids to run around, and allows family to enjoy dinner and games especially during cold winter time. Jacuzzi indoors is a plus. However, there are shards of glass found at the bottom of the jacuzzi. Management was informed and were very responsive with concerns during our stay. Will definitely stay again!

We chose this house for it's private bedrooms and baths. However, the beds were not comfortable and the linens need improvement. There were only 9 towels for 11 people and we couldn't do laundry because detergent was not provided. There was no outside trash cans so the trash piles up inside until check out when you have to haul it to a dumpster since there is not trash pick up for rentals. There were no extra trash bags so we had to call and have more delivered along with an extra sponge, which came quickly. The kitchen is well stocked but there was a moldy orange under the table that had been there for sometime. The bbq caught flames since it appeared to have not been cleaned in a while. The backyard was great and the game room was fun. The living and dining room were somewhat small for our group of 6 adults and 5 kids. The location was good and we enjoyed the peek a boo view of the lake. The check in process was not easy although we were given an early check in, which was great.

Great cabin for a family skiing getaway
Cabin is very spacious with tons of amenities. Pool table, arcade console, multiple TVs and a hottub. Beds are nice and comfortable. Huge backyard with a grill. Walking distance to local restaurants. Excellent stay overall.

We arrived against the odds during a snow storm, and when we finally arrived, the trip was all that much more rewarding because the cabin was truly amazing. Gorgeous, with plenty of space for everyone. The game room, hot tub, and back deck with lighting were the highlights, but the rooms were huge with large bathrooms, and we had a wonderful stay, very close to the lake with a fantastic view out the back porch. This cabin really helped me deliver the dream Christmas to my family I’d always wanted. Thank you!
