Restaurants were convenient and awesome.

Wish we could have stayed longer.

Location, cleanliness

The main a/c unit was broken so there was a portable ac was there and in the way. It kept the main area cool but the bedroom got warm. Windows didn’t open

Very nice little cottage, equipped as advertised. Location is fantastic, 1/2 mile from cafe on the beach and Leffis Key Nature Walk to the south (which includes a nice shaded park for almost the entire walk), 1/2 mile from the Bridge Street Pier shopping area to the north. The beach is literally just out the front door across a two lane road.

My only quibbles: (1) the door code buttons are extremely sensitive to bad inputs such as pressing them too hard or too softly. It took me six tries the first time to get in. Although I developed a more deft touch over my five day visit, I never got in without multiple attempts. A person with shaky hands might have real trouble. (2) As others have mentioned, the sofa and coffee table are worn, noteworthy since the rest of the place is so nice. I sat on the sofa and it was tolerable but not great; I never pulled it out to use as a bed.

The location, right across the street from a wonderful beach, was great! We could see the sunset from our front porch, though it was better if we went across the street and stood on the beach. It is also right on the free, trolley bus route which runs from one end of the island all the way to the other.

The kitchen was well equipped, but really needs to be remodeled. The cupboards and countertop are pretty sketchy. The couch in the living room is also in need of replacement.

The bed was old and small. Wasn’t comfortable at all. The couch looked like it was bought on a rummage sale.

I like that beach access was directly across the street. I like how clean the cottage was. I like that we had a kitchen, table, washing machine and dryer, living room area. LOVE the mirror closet doors. Love the decor. Nice to have parking spot, even though we used the trolly. Want to mention again how clean it was, seriously can walk around in socks or barefoot and bottom of socks / feet are clean. Definitely recommend.

ONLY thing I didn't like was the Hurricane. This was by NO means the fault of the owner of the property or fault of Vacasa but I was disappointed that we had to evacuate and end our trip early due to hurricane. It was just nature, no one fault, just would have loved to stay longer. SAD but will return at a time not during hurricane season. EVERYTHING about the property and location was great. Prayers for safety of all in the path of hurricane. I know some have more to lose than vacation days being shorted.
