Created by a prominent San Francisco architect and photographer duo, Casa Agave is a chic tranquil paradise on a quiet street on the 8th fairway of the Tahquitz Creek Legend Golf Course in the center of Palm Springs. This spacious, impeccably designed Mid-Century Modern home features unobstructed views of San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountains, an elegant blur of indoor and outdoor living with flow through lounges, dining areas and casual shaded seating areas. The space: **THIS IS NOT A PARTY HOUSE *** When you take a dip in the 3'-8' salt-water pool, relax and enjoy this great Mid-Century Modern home, you can really feel the Palm Springs vibe. Casa Agave has all the comforts of a home while retaining a deep connection to the surrounding desert and all its natural beauty. Modern design and playful vintage meet sweeping mountain and fairway views. This expansive house has multiple indoor and outdoor lounges and dining areas, Tuft and Needle mattresses, Belgian linen and high thread count cotton beddings, inspiring art, designer furnishings, large modern kitchen and lots of space for you and your guests to spread out and relax. This secret gem in the heart of Palm Springs delivers the perfect vacation escape. Each bedroom has a different vintage wallpaper that matches the unique and artful details in the room. The private master suite offers direct pool access, a king sized bed, desk with monitor that doubles as a TV and has an en-suite bathroom featuring dual sinks, an enormous soaking tub and shower. The two guest rooms feature queen beds, expansive closets, in room sitting/reading areas and one of the guest bedrooms has their own secluded sitting patio walled in by thick and vibrant ficus trees. These two bedrooms share a full bathroom with dual sinks and large shower. Enjoy cooking in the large kitchen or grilling outdoors on the BBQ. Dine indoors in the large dining room as you overlook the pool or dine poolside at a shaded table. Relax and watch your favorite movie on the large flat screen TV in the den or snuggle by the gas fireplace in the living room. Listen to your favorite music on the Sonos speaker system. Take a dip in our salt water pool. Should you wish to have the pool heated during the cooler season, please notify us in advance of your arrival as there will be a supplemental charge of $75 per day for this service. Lounge poolside and enjoy uninterrupted views of the fairway and San Jacinto and Santa Rosa mountains. Enjoy a round of golf, walk to nearby hiking trailheads or simply take a short drive to some of the most luxurious shopping in the desert. Whatever you decide to do or even if you decide to do absolutely nothing at all, Casa Agave provides the perfect backdrop for you to experience Southern California lifestyle done right. Fantastic home with the best chef's kitchen we've ever rented on VRBO! Unfortunately our time there was during an unusual snow/rain/cold California storm, we made the best of it in the spacious home and even golfed in the rain! Very unusual and beautiful to see snow on mountains and cacti on the course!!

Everything about this rental experience was top notch! The house is as beautiful as the pictures. One of the best stocked and organized properties we have rented. The property manager was very professional, personally walked us through the house upon check in, and was quick to respond to any inquiries. The one thing to be aware of is stray golf balls from the adjacent golf course, we did have two balls hit into the yard in the week we stayed…..just something to watch out for. Overall a lovely property that doesn’t disappoint!

We stayed at Casa Agave for a week and wish we had another week. The property has all the amenities and we didn’t want or wish for anything…the kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, pans, utensils, gadgets, serving dishes and much more. The beds are super comfy, the backyard/pool was lovely and the neighborhood was very quiet and close to everything! Foxden (hosts) has their business figured out, by far one of our best rentals! We highly recommend Casa Agave!

Beautiful house, great location. Pool, house, amenities are amazing. The photos don’t lie. Awesome place for a quiet weekend away with friends or family! Price is fair. Only downside is the property is honestly a hassle to book. Lots of extra requirements, and it really felt like false advertising that the house sleeps 6 people, but you are charged for any more than 3 people. Overall, the property managers I worked with were very friendly and helpful, but the extra fees and extra requirements felt like too much. Amazing house and we had a great time, but I may consider using an easier property next time simply based on the fact that there’s so much to chose from in Palm Springs.

The pictures do no justice! This house was spectacular, luxurious and quiet. It was also very spacious and the tub in the master bathroom was amazing. We did not want to leave. Check in process was easy the manager came to show us around she was very sweet. The view of the gulf course was beautiful we will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful stay in this California mid-century modern home! It is perfectly situated on a golf course in a quiet Palm Springs neighborhood, yet an easy drive to the hot spots. Decor and design was classic mid-century. The house is situated so that the main living areas get the morning sun, but are shaded in the afternoon heat. Walk outside and pick a fresh grapefruit or lemon off the trees in the backyard. Enjoy the pool while you watch the duffers slice their iron shots. Windows, light-filled, bright - a perfect antidote to the winter blues. It is only 5 minutes to groceries. Easy drives to airport, downtown and the tram. Drive thirty minutes to Indian Wells Tennis Garden or about 45 minutes to Joshua Tree. The caretakers were very proactive, friendly and communicative. We had a difficult time saying goodbye to our best rental experience after dozens around the world.
