Situated in Cathedral City, this lovely house for $248 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. License #014960 Max overnight occupants: 8. Max daytime occupants: 8 Guest responsible for booking must be 28 years or older Enjoy sparkling blue pool and mountain views and relax on the covered patio and grass lawn. Our home has four bedrooms with four queen-sized beds, two and a half bathrooms and a lot of style. If you're coming to the Palm Springs area to stay in an authentic mid-century modern home, you've found it. Newly remodeled with brand new furniture, crisp new bed linens and fluffy new towels. As our guest, you will have access to the entire home and backyard. The garage and closet are locked to protect our personal belongings. Cathedral City Cove is surrounded on three sides by mountains. The mountains prevent excessive wind and allow just enough desert breeze to keep the palm trees moving. The neighborhood is filled with artists and creative, friendly people. Hiking/biking trails, great restaurants, shopping and movie theaters are just a few minutes away. As well as, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Target, and tons of vintage shops. We recommend renting or bringing a car to get around, however there are taxi and Uber options on call. Some things to note about the property Heated Pool. There is a charge if you'd like the pool heated. Please let us know at time of booking if you would like the pool to be heated and we'll provide the fee based on current gas charges. Pool heat will be set to 85 degrees F. Absolutely NO DIVING in the pool - it is only 6 feet in deep end and 3 feet in the shallow end. There is a BBQ by the pool which is available for you to use for grilling outside the kitchen door. The gardener comes on Thursday (subject to change). The pool man comes on Tuesday and Thursday/Friday (subject to change). There are exterior security cameras at the front of the property. HOUSE RULES Guests should be 28 years of age or older for consideration. Check in time is 3 pm and check out time is 11 am. This home is a no party, non event home, this is strictly enforced. There is no smoking allowed inside the house. Evidence of smoking inside could result in a loss of security deposit. Furniture should not be moved around. An additional fee may be charged if furniture needs to be put back in it's original place upon guest's departure. Guests are required to use provided plastic glassware and dishes outside the house. No glass is allowed around the pool for safety. Guests are warned that the interior floors are slippery when wet. Please use caution when entering the home from the pool area. Please do not sit on any interior furnishings with wet clothing. Please let wet towels dry in the sun before bringing them inside. Guests are asked to load all used dishes in dishwasher and remove all trash and recycling to the provided receptacles upon check out. All trash must be placed in the outside trash cans at the side of the house upon the guests departure. ADDITIONAL NOTICES Noise: No outdoor music, radio, musical instrument, amplifiers, karaoke, devices that produces or reproduces sound can be used outdoors, at any time. Respectful to neighbors: This home is in a well established, peaceful neighborhood of single family homes. We ask that guests be mindful of noise levels and treat neighbors with respect, especially when outside on the patio or around the pool. Please refrain from using loud profanities or lewd language around the pool as our neighbors as loud voices can be heard by our neighbors. CLEANING & SANITIZING We want to assure you we are complying to all precautions with regards to COVID-19. We have always used disinfectants that kill 99.9% of all germs, viruses and bacteria. We have added some additional sanitizers and disinfectants and we have implemented more stringent cleaning criteria in addition to our already high standards. All frequently touched areas are disinfected, hard surfaces, doorknobs, remote controls, light switches etc. are wiped with disinfectant. We hope to help reassure to our valued guests, we are doing our part to help control this challenging World Wide situation.

A great stay with three kids and 3 adults. Lots of room to spread out. Pool was great, a comfortable 80 degrees with sun most of the day. Quiet neighborhood with good access to Palm Springs and Palm desert. Would recommend to anyone.

Everything about the house was perfect, from the spacious layout, convenient location, beautiful furnishings, and attention to detail, down to the soft sheets which smelled great! Dave the owner was a pleasure to deal with, and Marc, the caretaker, was easy to reach. Oddly advertised as 3 bedrooms, there is a 4th. The pool was lovely. We paid extra to have it heated, and while we used it sparingly because the weather was chilly, it was still worth it. Not directly in Palm Springs, but only a few miles away, letting us take advantage of everything Palm Springs has to offer.

perfect girlfriends getaway

The outdoor furniture on the raised covered patio was a good as the furniture indoors and we comfortably worked and relaxed outside.
The kitchen was stocked with every imaginable thing you could need and we stayed in almost every night enjoying cooking.

Lovely updated 4 bedroom house with pool, pretty gardens and spectacular views of Mt San Jacinto from the living room.

We used the fireplace in the living room every night.

My suggestions would be the following: 1) the local host did NOT wear a mask when he showed us around inside (even though all five of us did). It's a small gesture, but it was a little off-putting. 2) The lack of access to laundry facilities was a surprise for a house this large (and expensive). You need to provide more bath towels or open up access. You should also warn people that there will be no access to washer/dryer as it did not occur to us that these would not be available. 3) Consider buying a king-size bed for the primary bedroom. Most people are used to that size at home so a queen-size feels mighty small. 4) Finally, half of the primary bedroom closet was locked which is completely understandable, but the keys were left in the lock... We did not open the closet, but other guests might have.

We felt like we were at our very own luxury resort! The house is conveniently located and beautifully appointed with “happy chic” decor. We took a day trip to Joshua Tree NP and loved coming “home” to dip in the pool.

This property is awesome, the size was perfect for my family of 6. It was a much needed get together after 2020!! Great house and pool- has everything you need
Just came back from a weekend staying here. Host was very responsive and great at communicating. House was decorated so cute, very MCM and perfect for Palm Springs area. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need including coffee maker (but we brought our own coffee). The pool and outside area are what really make this property! The weather wasn’t super hot but we still had a great time lounging outside. Seriously, the decor was SO CUTE!!!
Only con was- The TVs never worked for our stay. None of the remotes worked in the bedroom and the front TV in the family room would turn on but constantly buffer, to the point that we turned it off. I spoke to host and sounded like an internet issue. It wasn’t a vacation to watch tv so this didn’t really matter to us, but it could be an issue if you rely on wifi there or need the tv for your kids etc. I’m sure it’s fixed by now anyway.
This place was so cute, I would stay here again. We also were able to do an easy 3.5 mile trail walk on the back mountain right outside the neighborhood which was great! 10 min Uber drive to Palm desert and 15 min to Palm Springs downtown, so pretty centrally located.
Also, shower pressure in the master shower was amazing. I need that in my house!
Seriously, book this house!!! You won’t regret it! :)

We hiked daily as trails were easily accessible from the location, but we were so happy to return to the wonderful pool and peaceful setting for a relaxing afternoon. The kitchen is so well organized and equipped, allowing us to prepare meals to enjoy in the evenings at the outdoor table. Altogether a luxurious property!

Great Pool
This property is great. We hope to stay here again in the future. It was very, very clean. We used all 4 bedrooms and everyone commented how comfortable the beds were. The backyard far exceeded our expectations... really the whole property did.

Since we did not purchase the travel insurance, we could have lost our stay and money. Instead, Dave let us pick a new date for our stay. Integrity! The house was well decorated and the kitchen was labeled so we could find everything with ease. Very nice kitchen appliances and overall amenities. Check In/Out was well organized and very easy. Thank you, would highly recommend.

My three girl friends and and I just returned from a week long stay in the Palm Springs area. This house has fantastic and Dave (the owner) was excellent to deal with. The house is fully equipped with lots of dishes, cookware and modern appliances and the air conditioning worked well (along with the ceiling fans in each of the bedrooms). There were lots of towels and the beds were extremely comfortable. What made it extra special was the backyard. The whole yard is freshly landscaped with new concrete, a refurbished heated pool and comfortable modern outdoor furniture. You are totally secluded and feel like you are in your own private oasis. The pictures do not do it justice. We spend every evening outside in the comfortable sitting area or eating at the outdoor table. It was great!!
At first we were a little hesitant about the neighbourhood as we normally stay more in the Palm Desert area but this house is in the perfect location to access both Palm Springs and Palm Desert. We walked the entire community and found it to be safe, quiet and clean. We walked in the evening to a local Mexican restaurant and it was a short drive to Trader Joe’s. We were so impressed with the property that we have already approached Dave about renting it again next year for our girls’ vacation.

Tranquil desert hideaway
The house was everything we wanted and more! We lounged in and around the pool all day and made delicious meals in the well appointed kitchen. Lovely and relaxing!

Beyond expectation!
Dave and Todd were wonderful hosts. Prior to my trip, Dave provided directions and let me check in early. When I arrived, there was water and a bottle of wine in the fridge as well as care packages on every bed filled with towels, soap, toothbrushes and toothpaste. The outside area was even better in person than in the pictures and there were floaties available for my group to use. The inside of the house was also lovely with more than enough room. It was the perfect weekend getaway for a large group and I would definitely book here again.

Perfect!
Dave's place was perfect for us. We were more impressed than the pictures prepared us for. The house is immaculate, lots of room, great décor and everything you need. The pool area is awesome with more than enough seating, and it's comfortable! It was a slice of heaven and we can't wait to come back again!!! Thank you Dave for making our stay the best...
