Located in the heart of Rancho Mirage, this vacation rental presents an exceptional opportunity to experience the desert's finest. Our 3000 sf condo has 11 foot ceilings (floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors), three bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two bedrooms have king beds with ensuite bathrooms and spacious walk in closets. The third bedroom has two queen beds and great closet space, with a view of the pool and patio. The third full bathroom is located in the hallway next to the third bedroom.
The outdoor patio is steps away from the pool and can be used for al fresco dining, relaxing, enjoying a morning cup of coffee, and gathering with friends. The dining room area seats 8 people comfortably at all times but can host dinner parties for up to 16 people. There are two living rooms. One living room has a large sectional, 60inch TV, and mountain views. The other living room is perfect for socializing, seats 10 people, and faces the pool.
The house combines both vintage and modern elements that give it it’s 1960s charm. The kitchen is stocked with dinnerware, glassware, appliances, pots & pans, and great knives! This house is great for day to day living as well as entertaining.
A large heated swimming pool is just beyond the front patio. There is a 2nd swimming pool with Jacuzzi that is heated at all times.
The condo has a private garage that is shared with the neighboring unit. There's also ample outdoor parking spots.
Tamarisk West was built in 1963 after Tamarisk County Club was founded by Hollywood A-listers in the 1950’s including Danny Kaye, Jack Benny, George Burns, and four of the five Marx Brothers to name just a few of the select “Golden 65” representing the founding members. These homes were built independent from the club but for members that didn’t want to have huge homes on the course. There is a gate that connect the Tamarisk West community to Tamarisk Country Club.
Golfing (many public courses nearby), hiking, shopping, dining out all are available no more than a 10 min drive away.
