Beautiful location, had everything the two of us needed for a relaxing couple of days. Everything spotlessly clean. Jacquie and Dave are lovely, friendly hosts who made us totally at ease from the moment we arrived and provided lots of local information and recommendations. Breakfasts were really good and the gardens around the house are lovely.

The host was lovely
Hot tub looked great but we didn’t use as felt like it should have been included in the price.
The bedrooms were very cold and did not feel cosy. One of the single beds in the double bedroom was very firm and felt like it was on a slope. Couldn’t get comfy when lay down and so we chose to leave for the comfort and warmth of a premier inn.
We didn’t feel like we could relax or have any privacy with the hosts being so close and their bedroom adjoined. Not their fault, it’s just we are used to staying in a hotel and didn’t actually know what a B&B would be like.
Additional costs for the hot tub seem unfair as there is £25 added for electricity already on the billing and so a further £25/£50 seems a bit excessive
Additional costs for a cooked breakfast as only continental included seems unfair.
