Located in Harbor, this charming house for $327 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Our beautiful home sits on a cliff 80 feet above the shoreline. At low tide there are many rocks and a large beach. But even at high tide Pelican Rock stands above the water. There is no direct access to the beach from the house but it is only 9 tenths of a mile to Sport Heaven Beach, about a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Sport Heaven Beach has miles of sandy beach and there are many other beautiful beaches in the area. The house is 4 miles from the center of Brookings and 1 mile to the Harbor. At the harbor there are great restaurants, fishing charters and a great boardwalk overlooking the boats. Come and enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets. We have lived in Brookings for three years now and love it year round. We live in our home just 4 miles away with our three small dogs. We hope to see you soon. Please no trailers. Our driveway does not allow for turning around a trailer. There is a video camera above the garage door that monitors the driveway. Please stay off the neighbors property and stairs to the beach

It really does look like this from the main living room window, although we had fabulous stormy seas in late December. Perfect size for two adults but the three beds could sleep five. I wish it was closer so I could visit more often.

I chose this house because of the yard but my dog ended up staying home with my daughter’s new dog, so the yard was wasted on me but The house was comfy and cozy and right on the water. Very clean and the host was excellent with recommendations of things to do.

Clean, light, and airy with amazing ocean views right from the backyard! We used the fire pit every night and enjoyed the incredible sunsets. The home was clean and well stocked. Excellent communication from the property manager.

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times. We love it for several reasons. First it’s dog friendly which is very important. It has a fenced yard and very safe. The view is amazing of the ocean and the fire pit for roasting marshmallows is great. The house is well stocked. It has room for 4 people and more if kids with bunk beds in one bedroom. The one thing that needs improvement is the beds. The mattress is very uncomfortable and I think is on its last leg. Overall we would stay again as you can’t beat location. John the host is very attentive to any needs you may have. We will be back.

Amazing place for a coastal getaway. John, the host, was attentive and friendly. House was super clean and fully stocked. There aren't many options when traveling with a dog, but this place fits the bill with a fenced in yard and dog friendly recommendations for outings. Beds were a bit soft, but otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay and a lovely time.

The property was great with a beautiful view. The inside was bright and well lit. The neighborhood and property arrangement provided privacy snd comfort. Even know there is not direct beach access, its super close and convenient just to pop right down to the harbor. We all loved it and can't wait to return. The host was great and made absolutely sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a great place to stay.

Here are some quick notes. 😊 It’s a cozy cottage overlooking the gorgeous coast and the sunset views are amazing. It’s clean and close to shops and restaurants. My dogs were happy and loved the yard. We had lots of rain during our stay but that didn’t keep us from enjoying our time. John is very helpful and very welcoming with lots of suggestions for when you’re out and about. Yes, we would book again.

Let’s start with John. He was attentive, friendly and reliable from the start. We met up with him at the house before our actual check-in time. He showed us the property and where to find anything we may need. He also had a neat little binder with a lot of information about where to eat, suggested attraction, and suggestions of where we could take our 2 Newfoundland’s for fun other than to the beach. He was easy to get a hold of when we had a question or two. The house is exactly as stated on VRBO and didn’t disappoint. There was plenty of firewood to burn in the fire pit and comfortable chairs to sit in while watching the sunset around the fire. We did spot some wildlife from the backyard with John’s spotting scope and the binoculars we had brought with us. We saw quite a few sea lions on a buoy that’s a ways out. On pelican rock you can obviously see pelicans but after high tide we saw (through the binoculars) starfish on the rocks. It was also nice watching some of the fishermen catching their catch in the mornings. Overall a great stay, not far from dining and attractions with an attentive host.

Owner was full of helpful information on local favorites and great dive bars. Location of the property is located perfectly to restaurants and everything you need. No need to ever hit the Highway for any reason. Had a wonderful time and even better dining experience.

The check-in process was easy, the house was clean and super cute. There was some dog hair in the carpets but to be expected with a pet friendly place. Overall, the cleanliness was great. The house had everything we needed, and the host was very helpful and accommodating. The view of the ocean is amazing and we loved relaxing by the fire and taking in the beautiful ocean views. Highly recommend and we will be back!
