Enjoy our slice of paradise for a peaceful getaway . Views of the Mackinac Bridge from the front yard and fire pit. Located in historic St. Ignace, enjoy freighters from the front deck. It's a beautiful property and fantastic location. Mary Jo was a gracious host and very thoughtful, making my husband's milestone birthday even more special. We would absolutely book again later in the summer if available. The area has a few natural challenges in late May between the weather and the midges. Then again, watching the ships go by, the fog roll through, and the natural changes of the Strait was exactly what the doctor ordered.

It was a business trip. The property was better than expected. Very quiet and peaceful setting. Great view of the water. Lots of great space inside and out. Owners were exceptionally accommodating. Highly recommend it.

Owner was very hands off. You can’t beat the location of this property. Only way it could have been better is if there wasn’t a road between the water and the house. It was cleaner than you would expect but could have been better - there was white stains on the sheets on the bed I jumped into the first night. Then I needed to go find extra sheets in a closet to set up the sofa couch which had no bedding. The Coffee machine needed a thorough cleaning before being used. S’mores were provided which was nice. We enjoyed the great weather and visiting the island!
