We picked up the key from the SmartHomes agency in town - they were closed on the Sunday, so we used the lockbox just outside their door. A few days prior to check-in, the agency sent a message and a few guidance videos to help find the apartment, the parking garage, and the parking spot - via Whatsapp. They're pretty quick to reply on Whatsapp, within business hours.
The apartment is just a quick walk down one road directly to one edge of the São Martinho do Porto beach. Just be aware that the short distance (a single road) is at a 33 metre elevation. So if you're okay with a steep hill, the location was fantastic. The apartments all view into the courtyard with the swimming pool. It's quite fun to hear the families in the pool.
I love Portuguese shutters on the windows. They're brilliant. Excellent for putting the baby to sleep. The apartment we had didn't have too much sun, so we didn't actually need to use the shutters too much. And we barely touched the air conditioning, it just wasn't boiling in the apartment like it was outside.
The apartment had a washing machine, dishwasher, tablets and liquid for both, cutlery, crockery, clothes drying horse, pegs, etc. It was fully stocked.
It even had board games, a beach umbrella, a deck chair, a beach mat, and a laundry basket. We needed extra toilet paper, soap, and shampoo.
We asked for a baby travel cot, but it did not come with any bedding. And the "mattress" that it came with was very hard - the bars did not have much padding on them. So baby was sleeping on hard bits.
Something in the bathroom also seemed to leak, we got big puddles on the floor under the sink - but we were supplied an extra towel (I think for the baby?), so we used that to absorb it.

Optimo apartamento. Todos os electrodomésticos. Muito limpo, bem decorado e com umaz optimas vistas. Incluido também estava todo um conjunto de artigos de praia, jogos e bicicletas. Muito bom.

El apartamento es muy cómodo y está muy completo en todos los sentidos para sentirse como en casa. Está en una zona muy tranquila y con buenas vistas. La empresa que lo gestiona informa y atiende cualquier cuestion que surja eficazmente y muy bien.
