Kirkview House was very conveniently located at one end of the high street in Moffat and was right on my route (JOGLE). On arrival I was warmly greeted by the host, a delightful gentleman called John. We got to chatting right away and could have spent hours talking.
The accommodation was fantastic and I had sole use of the entire top floor of the property. Very comfortable and well presented with a feature wall of natural stone and views across the road to the Local Anan parish church (who's clock does not chime between the hours of 11pm-7am).
I would not hesitate to visit again should I ever pass that way again.
A must is a pop round to R Little the bakers for your Moffat Tasty.

John was brilliant. He is full of information, he helped us to pick places to visit, he does the best breakfasts ever, was super friendly, and a lovely man.
The accommodation is spotlessly clean, and there's everything you would need.
Moffat is a lovely town, with little independent shops. It is well placed for visiting other places.
There wasn't anything that we didn't like.
