We had a great stay at the Azul Mansion in Key West! It is in a great location and we were able to walk to most places we wanted to visit on the island. Check in and check out was very easy and flexible with the drop box, which was great as we got there quite a bit later than expected. The inn itself is very cute and was decorated very nicely for Christmas during our stay. We only used the pool once because there were so many other things to do but it was very clean and nice! A good value and a great time!

The property is lovely, on a street close to the action but enough distance away. Room was great and pool was lovely but small. The only issue was the air conditioning seemed hard to use. And it was a little strange we never saw the property manager but overall, very nice.

I couldn’t say enough great things about Azul Key West! This was our first trip to the Keys and I have to say, Azul did spoil us. When we go back, I won’t even attempt to search other properties because Azul was a perfect fit for us. The management company explained every step of checking in/out via email and text messages, which I loved. We needed wash clothes, and they were there within the hour delivering them to us. For not being on site, that was incredible service! They had every detail covered. The room was clean, the house was cozy and inviting. Loved having the pool and water and ice machine steps away from our room. Thank you Azul, you played a huge role in a perfect getaway!

The check in process was easy and the main house was very accommodating with a full kitchen, water station and coffee available. They had extra towels at the pool and a water and ice machine which was very useful! The room was clean and had everything we needed. Melanie, the innkeeper, was more than accomodating when I contacted them about a pjece of jewelry i left there. She went out of her way to look personally and mailed it back to me!

What a great find. Close enough to walk to the center of town, but far enough to avoid the crowd. The Azul Mansion was perfect. Very clean and it had everything we needed. The pool was a delightful plus and it was so nice meeting other guests in the pool afternoons. We will definitely be back.

Lets start this review with the pros. It's a beautiful place, conveniently located within walking distance to Duvall Street. Very clean and a cute Victorian rental. We stayed in the FONTANA reserved for 2 nights. Situated across from the pool. Great location. The email and text communications were helpful. The host/manager was VERY pleasant and helpful. The Cons.Parking signs would be nice to have if allowed on the premises. Didn't know where to park. The FONTANA was VERY small. No place to sit, unless it was on the bed. Bathroom was small. Could barely get up from the toilet. LOL. AND THE AC! It was the NOISIEST AC I have ever heard! Kept kicking on and off all night. Never got any sleep. Not the fault of the management, but the room next door were LOUD upon their arrival during the middle of the night. Banging on the door to get in. Yelling and swearing. We were exhausted from NO sleep the night before, and decided to leave a day early. (NOISY AC and NEIGHBORS) It was just not worth it to us to stay another night there, with no sleep on our vacation. I bumped into the host/manager on our way out. She was VERY polite and offered a solution. It just was not something I wanted to do with all the crazy people these days. No refund was offered.

Excellent property that is super close to Duval St and other Old Town locations. Room was excellent and on-site parking was a huge plus. Rooms are a bit snug, but the main mansion has a lot of common area spaces for use.

We visited Key West for the first time and looked for a place that would provide comfort and relaxation. Azul provided a clean room, easy check in, and pool access. Our house neighbors were fun people! The location is convenient as well, walkable to many places. We will definitely come back!

Overall the property is clean and well run. Location on Truman could be noisy but we knew that going in. Only real complaint was the bathroom and bedroom are tiny. I'm a larger individual and it was awkward in the bathroom. Parking was only a issue on the last day.

We enjoyed our 3 day stay at Azul. The location requires a good walk to get around Key West but parking is expensive so.recommend walking shoes. The room (Cortez) is about the size of a dorm room but clean. Every morning about 5am I was awakened by the fan light going on. Im guessing it was power surge but the bed was comfortable. The main house is inviting and spacious with water, ice and k cups available 24/7. I enjoyed the pool and sitting outside the most!

After last minute searching for just a place to rest and shower within my budget, I was fortunate to find a room available at this sweet gem of a Mansion! Clean, clean, clean, and comfortable and tastefully decorated with many sweet amenities. One of the lovely & pleasant managers was on site and busy tidying up. We stayed in Fontana and the clear pool was just outside our door. The main house was spacious and beautiful with choice of rooms to sit back and chill or read or nap...although there's no time for that when you're in the Keys. Just blocks away from Duvall the neighborhood was quiet and safe for a night stroll. Loved this place and would highly recommend with a 5 🌟

This is a small, fairly peaceful, and elegant property on Truman Ave not too far from the hustle and bustle of Duval St. Each room is individually named. My unit was called “Fontana.” It was literally steps from the pool. The property has a main house with a fully equipped kitchen, two sitting rooms and a dining room. Guests are all welcome to use, according to the information I was given. The property is very well maintained. There is some “first-come, first served” off-street parking, which wasn’t an issue for me, having flown down and was (mostly) walking. Duval is a moderate walk for anyone in reasonably shape. Overall, this is a very nice, well run establishment. The only reason I don’t give it 100% is that the room, and especially the bathroom, are a bit on the “snug” side. I’m “mature sized,” the shower stall took a little navigating.😏 A few more pluses before I forget, there’s a couple of good restaurants and a liquor store close by, and a good water and ice dispenser near the pool. There’s also a CVS not too far down Truman for essentials. And there’s a large assortment of K-cups and fixings in the shared kitchen. Guess that’s all I can think of now, I know I’ll be back!

The property is very nice, the common areas are terrific. The pool is well maintained and very refreshing. Location-wise, it’s a moderately long walk to Duval, but not strenuous. Not much in the way of stores for staples, a CVS a few blocks down Truman will have to do, so if you’re without a car, like I was, that may be an issue. (There IS a nearby liquor store.) The place is clean and well maintained, beach and regular towels are abundantly available. I did not opt for daily housekeeping, which I think is available for an up-charge, so I can’t comment on that feature. An abundant supply of K-cups and coffee creamers are available in the shared kitchen. The water and ice machines near the pool work very well and are a nice feature. The only downside, to me, was the size of the room itself. A bit snug, no room for a chair. And the bathroom was also a little “close-fitting,” for someone of a “full” size, such as myself. But you’re mostly not going to be in the room too much, there’s so much to do, or you’ll be relaxing by the pool. Overall I highly recommend this place!

The hosts Melanie & Alena were extremely fast to respond to any and all questions. They come in each morning and add oranges, limes and lemon to this water dispenser filled with ice. It was so refreshing and we continually filled our water bottles every time we came back to the house. We stayed in the Fontana room, which is small but the mansion itself has plenty of rooms to sit and read, talk, eat etc... and the Fontana room is literally 3 steps away from the pool that was never noisy or crowded. And you're there to enjoy Key West not sit in your room. We walked everywhere, it's so easy to get around from this central location. Certainly will stay here again on our next trip!

It’s an elegant place on Truman and not to far from Duval. The main house has many sitting rooms as well as a nice kitchen. The bedroom is like your own little bungalow. The pool is great and surrounded by the main house and all of the bungalows. Rooms are nice and quiet. There are many restaurants nearby by including one right next door, Seven Fish, which I highly recommend (reservations are required on open table). This is a well maintained place to stay, just keep in mind that parking is on a first come first serve basis in the lot but still plenty of parking on the street. If you fly in, save your money on getting a rental car and use Uber or rent a golf cart nearby. We will be back to this wonderful place.

Azul Key West was a great place for my husband and I to stay for our extended weekend trip. The location was a few blocks from the action of Duval. The staff was extremely friendly and had recommendations for activities and places to eat. The pool was right outside our door and clean. Unlimited coffee and water for guests. Our bed was very comfortable and affordable. We recommend and hope to stay again soon.

In town for Fantasy Fest. Arrived after midnite (which Azul was aware of), had some trouble finding Fontana because the lights and TV in the room were on and shades were open so we didn't approach that room to look at the name because, from what we could see, it sure looked to be occupied.That was our only issue the entire stay. At one point we requested clean sheets, they made them available. We needed a scissors to modify a costume, they told us where we could find one in the common area. Azul is located a bit far from the heart of FF but we worked it out.With that in mind, I would recommend Azul!!Re: maint: the toilet seat is loose and the control for the faucet needs to be tightened. Couple more hangers would be helpful.

Very quiet and nice pool! The house is decorated tasteful and very nice. This is the 3rd stay at AZUL. We have enjoyed all our visits. The accommodations are clean and well kept. The house is close enough to town to walk but far enough away from all the noise. The concierge service that was offered allowed us to get all our reservations at one place so that everything was taken care of prior to getting to Key West. We will definitely stay here again!!

My husband and I stayed here for a few days getaway. The house was clean and check in was super easy. lousy parking option. space for 6 cars, but had many more guest rooms. no one is there to greet you or oversee the property. low insulation. people upstairs walking and bumping around upstairs is noisy and interrupts sleep. window/door coverings are horizontal blinds which do not provide privacy. This was our fourth stay at Azul, the first with the new management company. We were disappointed in the room and the overall appearance of the Hotel. In the past everything was spotless and we had employees on site to assist us. Everything is virtual now and trying to get extra shampoo and clean towels was a hassle.

Azul is very clean and comfortable but overpriced. It is located on US 1 and a ways away from Duval Street. We stayed there two years ago and was happy. This year things had changed. The price went up, there was no breakfast included, housekeeping was an additional fee of $25 each time they came in. We were there for 4 nights and we only had the small shampoo & soap and didn't get sheets changed or clean towels until we asked and the staff isn't on the premise. For $625 a night I would have expected cleaning every day and breakfast. We stayed at the Southernmost on the water and had breakfast & housekeeping every day for $50 more

I had booked through orbitz which said in the title that there was parking. Upon arrival the lot was full after calling the innkeeper she said to park across the street which was completely full. They were doing construction which was not mentioned in the booking either. I booked this property specifically because it said parking and the reviews said quiet, literally the 2 reasons I booked this property were not true. I waited over a year to go on vacation, they waited a year for their permit. Permits don't expire in a few days, they could have scheduled the construction and mentioned it for their next bookings.
