We had a very enjoyable stay at the Azul Mansion. The Havana was small but very nice and comfortable. The pool and common areas were clean and well maintained. We really liked being able to walk to Duval Street. We also rented bikes to get around. We had a strange thing happen a couple of times, our ceiling fan and light would come on at random times. I suspect that another remote (probably upstairs) was probably on the same channel. A second bar of soap would be nice for the shower. The parking situation was not great, if the parking lot was paved and parking spots marked, it could fit up to 9 cars. Overall we had a great time!

I absolutely LOVED this charming bungalow type stay. The communal areas were well stocked, very inviting and well-decorated. The location is everything! Walkable to everywhere but just far enough out to not hear any noise from the fun nighlife! Entry was easy and if we needed anything, the owners quickly responded. The BEST! Highly recommend!

This was a very unique place to stay for us. It is a converted mansion with outhouses all centered around a gorgeous deck with a pool. You have a fridge in your room and access to the house kitchen and full size fridge. It was a great atmosphere and just a couple of blocks from the free bus line that goes around old town.

Our room was so nice and clean, and we really enjoyed spending time at the heated pool! The location is close to so many attractions - we would love to come back and would recommend it!

Just an ideal spot. Close to downtown but not too close, all the necessary amenities, crisp AC, lovely pool, kept very clean. The flapper in our room’s toilet decided to quit and the innkeep sent a plumber immediately to fix it, no problem. It was a great, peaceful little home base for our trip, we’ll try to stay again next time!

We usually stay in a condo or hotel when we vacation, so this was a nice change. So quaint, and had everything we needed. Location was perfect, quick walk to Duval St. We didn't really need our car. Great communication with Melanie, who was right on it when we needed her.

We stayed for 3 nights recently in the Vieja room. This room sits right off the pool for easy access to pool and main house. The property is very clean and nicely appointed. Very welcoming. Virtual check in process went very smooth. Parking was all taken, but we were able to get a spot right across the street and left it there for our entire stay. The room itself is very small. Not a lot of room to navigate large suitcases. Bathroom is also small, but it's vacation and who spends all the time in the bathroom?! I had read on previous reviews that the AC was loud. It was, but it actually helped me sleep. I can't sleep in total quiet. Being right outside the pool was not an issue at night. There is a curfew, and we never heard anyone late. Would definitely consider this property again. Close to town, but far enough away from the louder bars at night. 10 minute walk to Duval.

Our stay was seamless and I always found a parking spot (which was a concern). The place was very calm and everyone was nice. Arriving was easy which was nice after a 10 hour drive. The pool is super nice and the rooms are clean and prepared. They supplied fresh water, sunscreen, clean towels, and lemon water in the front! There was a full kitchen with utensils and everything you needed! It was a 10/10 stay, Id love to go again! The owners are great too! War eagle!

We traveled down there for our 10th anniversary. The space was so cute! So clean! So comfortable!
My only complaint, which wasn’t much, was the amount of light that stays in the room all night. What we LOVED was that there is an ice machine, a water machine, a pool that always had some part of shade, a comfortable bathroom and an perfect location! Truly, we would easily stay here again!

Issues: Pool cleanliness, water pressure, the air conditioning unit We rented Havana. The room was small, just the bed to sit on. But we didn't intend to hang out in it much and there was plenty of communal seating inside and out. But the air conditioning in the room was SO LOUD. The air conditioning unit ran well but it sounded like a bomb was going off every time it turned on and off. As a light sleeper, I was constantly woken up by the noise. The pool pump (or some other pump) is also directly behind the wall of the bathroom so we could hear that if we didn't keep the bathroom door closed. The bathroom itself is also small, but fine. The water pressure in the showed was abysmal. It took me forever to wash my hair and it still never felt fully clean. We chose this rental over others because it had a nice pool set up. Unfortunately we never used it because it was disgusting and weirdly full of hair, men and womens. I don't know if they were shaking out laundry or what, but I grew up in FL with a pool and with lots of friends pool and have never seen anything like it. It was so gross. I texted the virtual innkeeper after skimming it myself and they were kind and said they'd clean it again but the next day it didn't look any different to me and after that, I wasn't risking it. We were really lucky to be able to check in early and I always appreciate when rentals are willing to do that. Having your room cleaned was an extra fee which we did not pay for. It's in a great location. We didn't park but there always seemed to be spots. We wanted to love if but unfortunately that doesn't make up for the other issues and with so many places to rent in Key West, we won't come back here.

This was in an excellent location for walking or driving to the various attractions. This house has been beautifully restored, and the management and staff were there every day to respond to any needs. Nice pool! Our room was comfortable. The only downside was a noisy air conditioner.

Location is great if you want to get away from the noise of Duval St. Room was on small side but we were there mainly to sleep, and the main house has plenty of areas to sit outside and in. Pool is nice since we were there in the crazy heat and humidity time of year. Nice areas in side main house to sit and eat or cool off. There is a great Wing place just accross the street! Staff were in and out couple of times a day to straighten up, place fresh towel at pool. Were not able to get a late check out since our flight didnt leave till 5pm but were able to keep luggage in main house and there is a full bathroom to freshen up before we headed to airport.

It was a great location. We rented a trike and it was almost in the middle of everything. We biked the whole island and would jump in the pool to cool down. The staff would keep to themselves but very respectful and welcoming. I stayed in the Havana Vieja, it was just enough room for my husband and I, which was perfect. We didn’t need a huge room. The room was on the first floor right by the pool. Didn’t have to carry my suitcase up and down the stairs. Coffee was always stocked and fresh lemonade was always made. Would definitely come back and recommend.

The Havana Vieja and Azul Mansion was exactly as described and in a quiet area. We rented bicycles which was a great way to get everywhere in an easy manner. It was really the easiest way to get to everywhere. We had a situation that was no fault of Dwell Key West or the property and they handled it quickly and in a very professional manner. Check in was smooth however the parking was confusing. There were 2 marked spaces and the rest is just a "free-for-all". The room itself was tiny and not much room to put anything down (e.g. once I'd made my coffee I couldn't find a spot to set it down.) The AC was noisy but effective. A word to people who like a dark room to sleep in - this is not it. The exterior lights filter in through the blinds and there's no way to dim them.
Overall though we had a pleasant stay. Its a little far to walk to the heart of things but doable. But everything was neat and clean and well maintained. The public rooms are gorgeous; its a shame they are not more of a feature (maybe a happy hour).
