The apartment was perfect for a family of four. It was very cute, plenty of space to eat and sleep. My kids (4 year old and 9 month old) could roam around safely. The beds were comfortable and the apartment had everything we needed to make the stay enjoyable. There was a good supermarket nearby so we could eat meals at home. The air conditioning kept us cool during a September heatwave and we felt the blinds kept the sun out fine. The location was fabulous, we were able to walk everywhere. There was some late-night noise but this is to be expected in Madrid! We didn’t arrive until 11pm but we met by a kind and helpful host.
The property itself was fantastic. However during our stay we received messages saying a maintenance engineer would arrive at the flat with his own keys to carry out minor repair work (that hadn’t been reported by us). We managed to cancel one of the visits as my kids were sleeping at this time but having to deal with this admin took some back and forth messaging. Maintenance work should be carried out when there are no customers renting the property and expecting customers to deal with it while on holiday is pretty appalling. We also had someone enter the property at 9am on check out day with their own key, with no prior notice. Check out time was 11am. I wasn’t dressed at the time and found the whole thing a bit distressing.

Pulizia, Ascensore rotto per due giorni che ha creato notevoli problemi (appartamento al 4° piano), al 3° piano stavano facendo lavori: tutte le scale, ringhiera, ascensore piene di polvere bianca
