My partner Laura and I absolutely loved this guest house. It's close to the town centre, yet on a quiet, peaceful street. The rooms are cozy and spotless, and we really appreciated the thoughtful little touches, like power outlets right next to the bed and a small reading light for the evening. The shared spaces were cozy too, and very clean. There's also convenient parking right in front of the property, which is great if you're travelling by car.
The owner, Keiko, is incredibly friendly and welcoming. She gave us lots of great tips on what to see, which hikes to do and which onsen to visit. She even offered to call and book a private onsen for us, which was so kind. On top of that, she secretly helped Laura organize a surprise birthday party for me, a truly wonderful surprise that I really appreciated.
If we ever pass through Lake Toya again, we'll definitely stay here.

Comfortable and good location. The owner is super nice and helps with any questions. Location is also very good, very close to the bus terminal and just a small walk to the shore.

staff was super friendly, the location was incredible, the bed had their own fans which is perfect for me because typical air conditioning does not get cold enough anywhere I've been in Japan
the social area was small but there was very little people staying at the hostel so this did not become an issue.
