Excellent position, near to station, near to ruins, easy walk from both. Also a short walk to bus to go up Vesuvius. Lovely friendly cafe opposite. Big bathroom, nice balcony, comfy beds. When we eventually got communication going, they were happy for us to check out late which was helpful.
Communication was terrible. Nobody there when we arrived, called property but they spoke no English. Left standing on the hot street, no idea when anyone coming to let us in.
Sent other messages later, asking about breakfast, check out time - no reply, no answer on the phone. Eventually were sent a different number to message, but replies were few and delayed, and really struggled to communicate.
Breakfast was poor: croissants and jam, bread and sweet biscuits, left outside the room. Hadn't been told this so we were leaving for the day by then, assuming no breakfast at all! No butter, no hot drinks just cold bottled lemon tea. By the second night we messaged to ask for English tea with milk, maybe eggs, but got same again, plus tepid fruit tea. At least my companion got a coffee that day.
When we met her on checkout the host Rosa was lovely and she did speak some English.
No fewer than five keys needed to get into the room! Shower was hand-held only, in the bath.
