The beach condo was very comfortable, clean, everything you could possibly need, ADA compliant, and the hostess was very accommodating. Enjoyed the ocean view and trails to the beach. Seeing deer and quail was wonderful to see too! Highly recommend.

Dianes property is meticulous! Comfortable beds and pillows, lots of amenities, and wonderfully located with ocean views from the patio. Bonus for us was the Accessibilty since our daughter uses a wheelchair. We look forward to coming back!

Diane left no detail out to assure a comfortable stay at her well appointed, level in condo at Seascape Resort. She anticipated every need, including snacks to enjoy. The accessibility to both the beach and swimming pool, as well as to the grass area, made my 4 & 7 yr old grandsons & their parents very happy! I definitely recommend this rental without any hesitation.

Had a great time down at Seascape this weekend! The early check-in time was super helpful and the unit was beautiful. It had very nice finishes and furnishings and was just perfect for the birthday for Mom. Location was very nice and private, yet close to the pool and beach.

This was our second visit to this property and it was, again, awesome! Everything about the condo is welcoming and accommodating. Instructions about entering the unit and checking out were very clear and Diane was very helpful in her communication. Will definitely stay here, again!

We had a short stay at Rio Del Mar, but our accommodations were perfect for 3 sisters and our elderly mother. The ground floor, one-level condo with a handicap shower and handicapped parking out front was ideal. The unit is tastefully decorated, and Diane’s thoughtful touches with toiletries, condiments, spices, and snacks was much appreciated. We lost power on our second day, and several flashlights in the unit helped us immensely. Diane was also accommodating of our need for an alternate checkout arrangement.
While we had neither the weather nor the time to properly enjoy the Seascape resort, I would not hesitate to return to Rio Del Mar.

My father wanted to celebrate his 80th birthday in Santa Cruz. Since 3 out of 4 of us have mobility issues, finding a place that was ADA accessible was our main goal. The condo was wonderful. And it had a lovely view of the ocean. The location was great. Just a few minutes to our goal of the Boardwalk Thanks to Diane who answered all my questions and texts. Hope to come back in the future at some point.

We had a wonderful time. Our 2 year old granddaughter had a blast peeking out the back door at the deer who frequented our patio. The communication with the owner was over the top-even when I had to change our reservation. The place was clean, spacious, and peacefully decorated. The first floor, one-story end unit, was great for a busy toddler. We appreciated the snacks and basic items we sometimes forget while traveling.

We would definitely return to this property. It’s a short, fun walk to the beach and having a spa and pool were great for our kids. The host clearly takes care of the condo and we had no problems whatsoever. She is very thoughtful in having it stocked with everything we needed. It was clean, had a great view, and was definitely big enough for four of us. We highly recommend this place for a relaxing break.

I had nothing but praise for this unit and the host/owner of this unit. All arrangements were done in a timely manner by the host and communication was very clear. If anything, it was me who was still learning how to use VRBO and reply to all messages via their platform in a timely manner. It was the 1st time for me to book the unit for our family.
The unit itself was the best out of the 4 times we stayed at Seascape.
The unit was super clean. All bedding, towels, pots, utensils were clean and in perfect shape.
The unit was spacious, organized, well stacked with all needed items in the kitchen, bathrooms, rooms. In addition to regular plates, cups, glasses, there were also plastic and paper options.
We also enjoyed direct access to the lawn and 3 beautiful, functional patios! We enjoyed having our breakfast and dinner there.
It is an ADA unit. I booked it because we were planning to come there with our elderly parents. It turned out that my mom was not feeling well and my parents did not join. So, we did not get to utilize the ADA features, but enjoyed that extra space in bathroom.
Overall, we had wonderful experience and are planning to return. Great place, Great space, and great experience overall. Thank you!

This was our 4th trip to Seascape, and Diane's property was definitely the best of them all. It was not only spacious, but because it's a 1 story, it seemed even more spacious than the 2 story units. It was completely updated, nothing was needed, and she went the extra mile by including some much appreciated amenities.

Wonderful Stay
Our family had such a wonderful stay this week. The condo was super clean and Diane was available any time we needed her. Super fun watching the wildlife and enjoying the quick walk to the beach.
Only downfall was super noisy upstairs neighbors, but that’s what you get when you stay in a hotel.

Best Location At Seascape!
We spent a wonderful 4th Of July weekend here. The condo is beautiful, clean and Diane has thought of everything to make your stay comfy :-) The location is great as it's close to the pool, near a beach path, has a nice grass area for kiddos (+ evening visits from the deer) and it's very quiet. I would stay here again!

I would rather rent directly from property, we had to leave our room & search for a restroom for my daughter with chronic IBS due to the water being turned of go more than 2hrs.

Ground-floor unit at the rear of the building meant limited/partial view of the ocean, but we did have a view of the greenbelt and a little-used pathway which invites you to a scenic overlook or down to the beach. We were greeted by deer peacefully grazing outside our windows.
The king and queen beds were very comfy, and the blackout curtains helped us fall asleep immediately.
The only drawbacks:
1) The mattress of the pullout bed was thin and bent. The sleepers found it rather uncomfortable and described the noise of the springs as "baby in diapers rolling around." They recommended replacing it with a memory foam mattress.
2) The master bedroom is adjacent to a supply/electrical room, which emitted a steady and high-pitched hum. This was noticeable at night compared to the otherwise silent property. It didn't keep us from sleep, but people with sound sensitivities should choose another room.
3) The light for the master bath is on a motion sensor, which resulted in some humorous situations. The sensor can't see through the shower door, and might plunge you into darkness mid-shower, evoking horror-movie-intros. Or when you blearily shuffle in there to empty your bladder in the wee hours, it will turn on and blind you, evoking some creative swearing. It would be nice to have a night-light option and a way to keep the motion sensor off at times.
The resort offers a pool and jacuzzi one building over, and plenty of lovely walks. Shopping center across the street offers yummy pizza and a small market for all your short-term needs.
It was a perfect spot for our needs, and we can't wait to visit again.
