Convenient, but house needs redecorating & TLC

Whole house needs redecoration The kitchen Lino is torn Kitchen curtain pole hanging off wall Garden looks awful with rubbish bags lined up Garden fence coming down Surrounding houses garden fences broken & coming down meaning there’s no privacy & feels extremely run down area. Upstairs of property there is an improvement but Stair way struts broken First floor bathroom floor tiles broken Shower over bath looks very old Front door extremely difficult to lock & open, the door frame looks like it needs renewing?

The house was convenient to get to and in a quite area. The garden is neglected and needs attention.

The front and back garden is negllected with rubbish lying around and long grass in the back. The flooring in teh dining area is torn and blinds are a bit damaged.

Accomodation was cheapest in London on that day.

Was no heating in house at all. And askes for alternative and never responded by host. We all were freezing.

Passable

The boiler was leaking when it was turned on through the ceiling in the living room. The tiles to the bathroom were cracked and damaged. There was a bed within the living room area. There is a large damp stain in the kitchen by the cupboards. We reported these things on arrive and received no response.

Value for money, good size and good option to explore London on the tube.

Fairly near to tube so easy to get to central London. The house is a great size for a larger group and good value for money. There are many restaurants in the local area and nice to have a property to yourself.

During my stay there were a few maintenance issues. However talking to the host he was accommodating and quick to offer compensation and to send out repairmen to sort the issues. However he never did this and was eventually rude and unhelpful.

Great value, great location, and quite spacious.

Very spacious, lots of room for a place in London compared to others we've stayed at. Right next to Hounslow High Street, so that's a big plus. Kitchen was spacious and there were enough beds for everyone in our group. Plenty of bathrooms as well, another rarity for a property in London.

Hosts were not super responsive, hard to get an answer from them using the Booking.com messaging service. I recommend you use WhatsApp for anything urgent. There was also a neighborhood fox that comes around and tears into garbage, and in general just hangs around the property. Garbage collection was not great, not sure how often they come but it was piling up outside the property.

Served its purpose as a base but lacking in some of the basics.

Handy location, spacious property, a good base for London activities

Lacking in some of the basics for a large house for multiple guests - short of furniture (e.g. only 4 dining chairs - there were 7 of us), crockery (e.g. only 6 mugs), cutlery (e.g. only 6 forks), pans (e.g. no grill pan or frying pan) etc. No hair dryer. Top floor shower stuck on maximum heat. Not enough towels. Just some little things that we would have taken for granted.

Affordable break with easy access to central London. Ideal for families. Plenty of room!

Only a short 7-10 minutes walk to underground station (Hounslow East). Easy access to high street with lots of dining or takeout options available. Beds were very comfortable and although under Heathrow flight path double-glazing made any noise non-existent. (We didn't mind the planes though and quite enjoyed them!)

Some of the facilities would benefit from a little TLC but as we only slept in the property and were out throughout the day so we were not overly bothered. Clearer instructions in the house on using the hot water and heating would have been helpful - such as a handy instruction manual for the house.

Disappointing

Location and size of house great for families

No hot water for second half of stay and landlord stopped responding once I tried all the things he suggested and they didn't work Dishwasher filthy and made kitchen smell so had to clean it even though never used Only 4 bowls, 5 mugs and 6 towels for booking of 8, short on cutlery too, no oven trays at all Loo full of urine and made house smell like a public toilet so had to scrub toilet and floor to get rid of stench Broken fences and spindle on stairs so not safe for children Good job we only had 1 car as drive was constantly being taken over by several cars and vans coming and going next door Shower in loft doesn't work properly even when there was hot water...water just runs down wall not out of head and fan didn't work

Relaxing

Location was quiet and plenty of places to eat or order in. Plus there was plenty of space for the family and all the appliances/heating work correctly. Also the host was incredibly accommodating as we had to check in early which wasn't an issue, furthermore at the very last minute we I had asked if we could check out a couple of hours later than normal and he was generous enough to make that work.
