About this cottage rental
Situated in Au Sable Charter, this charming cottage for $250 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Welcome to Casa Luna Beach House! This property is located on the "Gold Coast" of Lake Huron with 50 feet of sugar sand beach for guests to enjoy (a 1 acre partially wooded lot as well). The entire beach house has been completely updated and renovated, including new granite counter-tops in the kitchen and master bathroom, new plumbing, electrical, insulation, flooring, painting, drywall, new windows, doors, lighting, city water, new septic system, new furnace and central A/C. Further, all the furnishings are BRAND NEW – new beds (mattresses and box springs), new linens, new couches, and new table and chairs. The newly updated kitchen is fully stocked with all new kitchen items, glasses, dishes, pots, pans, and accessories. The lake side deck has a new table and chairs. The lot is deep allowing a quiet peaceful area to enjoy Lake Huron. Ample towels are provided. The utility room has a full size washer and dryer. High speed WIFI and cable is provided on a brand new smart TV. The sugar sand beach is absolutely breathtaking, especially with the woods, fire pit, and beach house in the back drop. The lake gently pitches down so children have plenty of area to play before it gets too deep. It also has amazing frozen lake views in the winter. The beach house is located in between tourist hotspots of East Tawas and Oscoda (just off US 23). The area is filled with restaurants and fun activities. This is OUR home away from home and we would be delighted for you to stay (and treat it) like YOUR beach house. And why do we call it Casa Luna Beach House? Neither words nor pictures can truly explain it. Just wait until night time when the moon hits the water…

Great little beach getaway for our family! Loved the beach chairs and sand toys. Plenty of towels and every slept great! We made almost all our meals, the only thing that would suggest that would of made our stay easier would be a crockpot! We loved the recommendation of the Hilltop bar for dinner! Great priced, yummy hidden gem on the rainy day. Would recommend a trip to Sturgon Point Light House while you visit too!

Everything about this house is incredible. The views are amazing, the beds are comfortable, the house is so clean, the owners are easy to communicate with and clearly care about their guests and property. We have already discussed coming back next year. I cannot believe how clean and clear the lake is at this beach. We have gone to different Michigan beach houses for 5 years and this is definitely the best beach & best house we have stayed at.

Loved our short stay at Casa Luna . Wonderful beach and water views . The home is very comfortable and nicely decorated. My husband and I stay in vacation rentals a lot , this one is by far the most stocked rental I have ever been in . We always bring supplies with us but this home had everything you will need and then some . We appreciated all the information of where to eat and things to do .if you stay here you will love everything about this home . Beautiful Sandy beach , great water views , nice fire pit . Excellent location.

Here on business but couldn’t find a decent hotel. Book the property and was very pleasantly surprised. Very clean and updated. View of the lack was amazing even in winter. It was nice to cook in the kitchen. Plenty of space in the house.

Everything was as described in the property. We were 4 adults and 2 children. The beach was really nice and kids played with the sand. Owner was very accommodating and agreed to modify our reservation at last minute.

House was just as pictured. Beach access was unbeatable and walks along it any time of day were incomparable. Owner was extremely, quickly, responsive and helpful. Beds, pillows, furnishings all lovely. Only advice to give would be an actual property sign. We arrived in the dark and missed the driveway twice despite very specific directions. Would stay again.

This property was amazing! The home was clean and nicely decorated with a great view of Lake Huron. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was adequately supplied with all our needs. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, having bonfires and walking by the water. Great sunrises and relaxing sounds of the waves. We even spotted an eagle in a tree near the fire pit. Ivonne was wonderful to work with before and during our stay. She gave suggestions for restaurants and activities in the area. Whenever we had a question during our stay, she answered immediately and helped with our requests. We definitely will be returning to this home for future vacations! We had a fantastic week at this property and it was tough to leave. The house was clean, well stocked and comfortable. The location is perfect, with quick access Tawas and Oscoda. While the surrounding area has plenty to do and see…..we spend most of our time on the beach. Casa Luna has an amazing beachfront! The sand is soft, the beach feels very private and the sound of the waves is mesmerizing. The owners were easy to communicate with and very attentive. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time. Everything was so clean very comfortable beds, kitchen was stocked with everything you would possibly need. The beach was great! The kids played all day 8:00am to 8:00pm. Fire pit area was great and comfortable.

Paradise
The property was gorgeous, from the immaculate house to the private-feeling sandy beach. The high quality kitchen appliances and new utensils made for a comfortable experience while cooking in the beautiful kitchen.
The property offered shade near the fire pit, which made sitting outside more pleasant when the beach was too hot. The patio area was perfect for coffee in the morning, and the chairs in the shady area were perfect for afternoon beverages.
Now when I look at other properties, nothing else looks as pristine as Casa Luna. It was hard to leave.

We stayed for a girls weekend in the fall. The host was very accommodating. The house was clean and comfortable including the beds. There was everything we needed. There is beach left and that’s hard to find. There are some rocks to walk through and this can make it difficult when it’s really wavy but overall didn’t cause us a problem. Everything we needed was there and the place was very clean.

We had 6 adults, 3 children 5 and under. We had a wonderful stay enjoying the beach. The house is fully equipped with high quality essentials. You only need to bring the food! The beds are very comfortable which is sometimes an issue. You are about 5 minutes from downtown Oscoda and 15 minutes from East Tawas. If you want beach time and your not afraid of sand then this is the place for you.
