The perfect location

Room was spotless , spacious and just overall beautiful. River view was stunning . Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was easy to order and was delicious, sat at our table in the room looking over the river eating beautiful food was the perfect start to a sunday ! Check in and out progress very simple and easy to navigate

Shower was a little difficult to figure out, the tap was very stiff to change the temperature but only a minor thing.

The room was very clean and looked out over the main street. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a claw foot bath.

There was no power point near a mirror to blow dry my hair. There was street noise of a night due to fish and chip shop below. Also morning deliveries woke me up. Parking was a struggle so had to unload our suitcase and then move the car to local parking area down the street and then walk back.

The location was superb! Right in the center! It was cosy for one night.

- It was a bit hard to find the main entrance because it’s located on top of a fish and chips shop so you have to enter as if you’re going to the kitchen. - It was a self service type of check in. No reception. - Our room’s toilet got clogged and we called the emergency number provided. They tried to call a maintenance team but NO ONE was available. The solution the property gave us was to use another bathroom (that wasn’t super clean) on the top floor in a room that was a storage room! We paid for a room with an ensuite so clearly this was far from ideal. We tried to ask for a partial refund due to the inconvenience but we couldn’t reach an aggrieved with the property. They were not very kind and accommodating. Luckily we just stayed one night.
