Absolutely amazing hotel, way beyond my expectations. I got a room so big that I think it's bigger than my apartment and for an amazing price. The views were pointing straight to the mausoleum. Walking in the surrounding area is truly a pleasure, and the staff is so kind that I want to go there again.

Nice rooms. Excellent location. Friendly staff
Slow comms from hotel (over 12 hours at times for response). Unhelpful re taxi from station to hotel. Basically said we should book one ourselves. Then they said they could book one but we had to pay upfront (but hard to do as we are not local and have no way to pay in Tenge up front). No supper in hotel after 18:00.
Water went off in middle of night but fortunately came back on so we could shower.
