This was my 3rd time there! Amazing service and easy access to Dontonbori. This time around, I was able to talk to many travelers. This was my favorite visit! I can't wait to come back again the next time I visit Osaka.

It’s my 3rd stay. The hostel has improved tremendously since my 1st stay. Always good vibes and friendly owner to talk to.
It’s near American village so there may be some people who ride their vehicles loudly in the midnight but it is not the property’s fault.

Super comfy soft beds and bedding, clean and comfortable rooms. Common area has a very curated vibe which is fun to stay in. Staff are super friendly :)
Not enough room at the front door for removing shoes, and it does inevitably smell a bit despite the incense.

I booked a private room at Chillax, looking to save a bit of money but still stay fairly close to the action in Osaka, maybe meet a few people to hang out with in the evenings. The decor in the lobby was fun and some of the staff were very nice. Overall the value was okay, I wanted a cheap place to sleep and base out of and that is exactly what I got.
My room didn't feel the cleanest. The carpet was stained and felt grimy. There was also not a bathroom on my floor, so I had to take the stairs or elevator just to pee at night. Vibes were a bit off, it felt a bit like friends hang I wasn't invited to. I waited patiently to check in for quite awhile, thinking the staff wasn't around, until one of them who'd been laying on the couch realized what was happening and got up to check me in, so maybe we got off to a bad start.
