Excellent location, walking distance to Shinsaibashi and the train stations.
Very firm mattress and pillows, and it lacked furniture to store personal belongings and clothes.

On the positive side, the location is quite convenient and well connected to Dotonbori and other areas of Osaka, making it easy to move around the city.
However, the hotel itself feels quite inconsistent. You can tell that some parts have been renovated, but the rooms - at least the ones on the third floor - seem to have been left behind. Our room was outdated and the bed was extremely uncomfortable.
There also seemed to be some humidity issues, as the dehumidifier in the room could not be turned off, which was a bit annoying. Basic amenities are not provided, which was unexpected.
Another downside was the lounge area on the second floor, which gets very busy with people constantly coming and going because the hotel café is also open to the public.
Our room faced the main street, so it was quite noisy at night. The laundry machines are very old, and most of the staff speak very limited English, which made communication a bit difficult at times.
