A lovely, family run hotel - excellent location by the beach and a convenient bus ride away from Taormina. Very attentive and helpful staff

The room with sea view was excellent! I literally slept with the sound of the sea. Incredible experience. Outstanding surroundings. The staff was really nice and helped me with the buses and trains. I will come back for sure. Great peaceful place with all the beach stuff included. Great summer vacation with my kid. The pool is great! The beakfast increíble!

Breakfast was extensive and varied, however I prefer an order service, rather than buffet that is so wasteful.
Nothing was wrong specifically, however it was not exceptional. For me, exceptional is getting everything right - attention to detail on every level. This was a very good hotel but it was not exceptional.

The location is convenient for Taormina with good views of Isola Bella.
Perhaps it was the time of year but the experience was far from welcoming with the overall impression being that we were inconveniencing a hotel and its staff who were eager to close for the season. Two of the rooms had faults (a leaking sink, and a broken door lock) that were insufficiently addressed. The beach bar staff were abrasive and unhelpful, missing the point that most people were there to relax; if they weren't reprimanding you for daring to pick your own sun loungers, they were actively removing facilities ready to close in a few week's time.
