A 10 minute drive to all of downtown St. Augustine's historical offerings! Enjoy a mixologist-mixed cocktail at the Ice Plant or take a ghost tour inside Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. Walk around our beautiful cobblestone streets and observe the Spanish architecture of 1565 and the late 1800's Victorians homes. *SECURITY DEPOSIT: In lieu of a traditional security deposit charge or authorization hold for a large sum, we will instead charge a one-time non-refundable incidentals fee to your stay of $199. This fee acts as insurance for minor damages and covers you up to a max of $2000 of damage. You may elect to increase your incidentals fee for more coverage ($99 for $1000, $149 for $1500, $199 for $2000 and so on and so forth). *IMPORTANT: Guests must report to us any damage that has taken place during their stay before checkout, otherwise the incidental fee coverage is null and void. In this case, we reserve the right to charge the full amount of repairing or replacing the damaged items to you. Your insurance coverage amount ($500, $1000, $1500, etc) is not the max that you are responsible for. If damages exist beyond your coverage amount we will document this with photos and professional estimates of repair, and bill you for the repairs or replacements. Guest Access: You will have access to the entire home, decks and driveway. Please make yourself at home! The Neighborhood: One of the prime areas of Vilano Beach, you will find the area is bordered to the East by the Atlantic Ocean and to the West by the Tolomato River (or what we St. Augustinians call "The Intercoastal"). Located just a five minute drive from the home is a Publix grocery store with everything you could need! In that shopping center you can rent or buy equipment for any water sports activity. Just a seven minutes drive over the Vilano Bridge is Camanchee Cove, where you can rent a boat for the day or charter deep sea fishing tours! Getting Around: We suggest renting a car for your stay. Other Things to Note: Please remember that you're staying in a house, not a hotel. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action ASAP, but there is no one living on site 24/7.
